I didn't expect it, but it was good. It was nice to have a bathtub by the window in the room. The smell and quality of the shampoo and body cleanser were good. Good response. There was a bar serving coffee and tea at the breakfast area, and there were 1-2 staff members there, so it was convenient to be able to get coffee without waiting. If you eat breakfast at other hotels, there are places where you get a basic drink as soon as you sit down, but you have to wait a bit. It's easier for me to get it quickly, like ordering a drink at a cafe. The entire resort was nice and spacious. There were a lot of bathroom stalls right next to the breakfast area. It's nice that the Daepo Port right in front has also been neatly renewed. However, new furniture has a strong smell. My head hurts... I need some ventilation...

I recently stayed at Cassia Sokcho Resort with a group of 10 and had a great experience. We booked a Premier King and a Two-Bedroom Suite, and I was their first Accor Plus Diamond guest. The staff upgraded our Two-Bedroom Suite to a Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite and ensured both rooms were adjacent with beautiful ocean views. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, with ocean views and a bathtub. The resort’s exterior lighting at night was beautiful, and the balcony provided a serene escape.Points to consider:• The Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite had one king bed and two single beds, making it more suitable for four people.• Breakfast was provided for four guests, not six. Ms. Kim, the front desk manager, explained that Cassia offers different services compared to Accor.• We received two welcome drinks, despite being a group of ten. Ms. Kim also explained that this is Banyan’s policy, which may have been confusing for Accor members expecting different benefits.• The air conditioners did not turn off even though we set the controller to off. I had to call the front desk and ask for the remote controller to turn them off.• The bathroom lacked hair conditioner.• I would also suggest reducing the costs for access to the swimming pool and kids cafe, as they seemed a bit high.Overall, Cassia Sokcho Resort is a luxurious place with gorgeous views. With a few adjustments, it could be even better. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Sokcho.

1. Staff response- The staff was friendly upon check-in, but the staff at check-out were unfriendly.I asked for the location of the facility and they responded, so I went to visit, but there was a long time left before opening time.. Asking for the location means that I would like to use it, but if they had told me until the opening time, I wouldn't have wasted my trip, but it's a shame. The response from the staff at the food and beverage establishment was really... the worst.I added the number of people for breakfast, but it was confusing, so I had to stand in front for a long time... The policies for applying guest discounts, etc./using credit, etc. were not uniform for each staff member.Lastly, Horizon Jay Manager, did something bad happen to you..? I asked about basic things (difference between packaging and in-store consumption/product serving size), but they were so unfriendly that I had nothing to say. From the beginning of the trip, I was really offended by the manager's response.2. Facilities- I used an indoor escalator to go to a convenience store, but it suddenly stopped after going up two or three stairs. I know it's a hotel that opened not long ago... but I think you need to check carefully... what should you do if there's an accident while driving on the wrong side of the road?- Are the hot food lid handles made of stainless steel for breakfast? It seems that other hotels usually take protective measures with protective devices (silicone, napkin cloth, etc.), but Cassia Breakfast Restaurant did not, and one person in the group had an accident where he burned his hand. A chef who was passing by heard our conversation and took steps to treat us by wrapping ice cubes in a kitchen towel, but there was no follow-up action, and we had to treat ourselves at our own expense.3. Guest room- There was a part of the bathtub in the middle of the room where the drain area was shaking and broken... It was something I was looking forward to, but I didn't use it because I was worried I might get hurt. There was an empty water bottle left in the room by another guest, and the cleaning lady took care of it right away.It wasn't a cheap stay, but there were a lot of disappointments.Basically, I am not satisfied with any of the things I expect from a 5-star hotel. In particular, I think Cassia Sokcho needs to think deeply about staff service and facilities.

The food is clean and the service is good. Because it was newly built, it had a bit of a new house smell, but it was nice to rest comfortably. Corner Suite overlooks Ulsan Rock and has a great view of the sea. The mattress was a Simmons Beauty Rest, so I slept well.

Location is iffy because you have views but the area is meh. My biggest issue is the coffee shop it's pricy and that's fine but it's low quality coffee for the price point. That's the problem with this place. You also have idiots driving across the 3rd floor parking lots where the hotel connects to the outside ocean thing. That should be pedestrian only. Tons of stuff to fix
