A piece of Paradise - that’s how I would describe Thung Dong farm. We stayed for 2 days but wished we stayed for many more. There’s beauty everywhere you look - we climbed a small hill to the temple and see the mountains and the jungle around the farm. We watched the animals go about their day. We took short walks to the streams and the waterfall. Ae who runs the farm is a gracious and hospitable host making sure we had the best time. We are so glad we stayed at Thung Dong and hope to visit again soon.

I had a wonderful stay at Thung Dong farm. It's the ideal stay for those who want to disconnect from city life and be with nature. It was a lot of fun to watch the animals on the farm, and have the hens, turkeys and ducks following us everywhere hoping for a snack ! The majestic pink buffaloes are beautiful, and it's quite a sight to see them bathing at the lake and gathering near the fire afterwards to ward off insects. I will miss the dogs Louis, Lucy, Daisy, Mika (the most darling dog who loves sausages :D) and the always-sleeping cat Oscar and the beautiful white cat Pow Pow.P'Ae is a very thoughtful and welcoming host. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, providing us with the most scrumptious meals and even stocking our fridge with some snacks and drinks (trust me, a chilled glass of orange juice is best had after a trek on a hot, sunny day !).The village of Ban Champi is beautiful and quiet. The people are very warm and welcoming and always greeted us with smiles ! We were invited to join a few village residents for drinks and the best barbecued pork (with an amazing sauce of hand-pounded chilli). There is a waterfall near the village which makes for a nice hike. This was one of the best stays we've had in Thailand and I'm really sad to leave Thung Dong farm.

The farm has become one of our family’s favourite places in the world. We (2 adults, 2 children) came last summer, then came back again for my daughter’s 6th birthday because this is where she most wanted to be, and now we’re back again …

We stayed at the Farmhouse with Ae. Ae is an amazing and super friendly host who will take great care of you. The Farmhouse is very large, with multiple rooms and terraces with nice views of the farm. Food is included in the price. What makes this an amazing place is the interaction with daily life on the farm and for our kids to help feed them (cows, chicken, ducks, geese, dogs, cats). Ae also brought us to amazing nearby places (Omyim coffe farm & Take a Walk cafe). Both are amazingly beautiful places in the middle of nowhere... We also had a bonfire and our kids were able to create their own (wish) balloon. Can recommend this to anyone looking for peace and quiet in nature and a nice change of scenery.

This was one of the first farm stays we discovered online and right away appeared to be a good one. Are here on a 2 night stay and I must say it has been an EXCELLENT STAY so far (1 night in!).The farm is large with a lot of animals (cows, buffalo, variety of birds, chicken, rabbits, pet dogs and a cat). Khun Ae, who runs the farm is a super friendly, young man and an excellent host. The kids along with the kids of another guest family had a ball with walking around the farm, to the stream flowing nearby, feeding the fish and birds and more.We stayed in the Sunset room and the bunk rooms which are adjacent to each other and have all modern amenities inside (incl good WiFi!). There is a kitchenette with a fridge and a water pot for coffee and tea. They provide sealed, filtered water. For meals, we had to walk out to a dining sit out nearby where they spread out the vegetarian dishes per our request. Food was fresh, simple and mildly spiced and it was quite an experience eating out in the open.Check out their website for all the various activities offered, it is fun to mix these up.Relaxing, nature bound stay -- we are enjoying it here and appreciate Khun Ae and his family:s hospitality.

First of all, this is a farm-stay, so I rate it accordingly. My family (me, my wife and 2 children 5 and 7 years old) stayed at the Farm House from 24 Nov to 30 Nov 2023. There was more than enough room for all of us. We even had a spare bedroom that we did not have to use. Clean towels were provided (I really liked the embossed towels). We enjoyed the stay very much - it was a great break from city life.Ae provided us with very scrumptious meals. At times, the food was too much, but I could not stop eating. The food was homecooked, but super tasty. As expected of a farm, there were animals - a family of 4 water buffaloes, 2 cats, 5 dogs, several chickens, geese, ducks and pheasants. My kids had a lot of fun feeding the animals and petting them. The animals were friendly and always delighted us with their antics. Our stay coincided with the Loy Krathong festival, so Ae taught our children how to make water lanterns from banana stems. However, the water buffaloes came and snacked on the lanterns while they were left unattended, so they had to make the lanterns all over again!Ae is very good with children. He patiently answered all my kids' non-stop comments and questions. He also showed them how to start a bonfire and gave them several treats.Ae was a very good host. He arranged all our transportation and made sure we got back safely. Our elder son fell sick halfway - he has a habit of putting his fingers in his mouth, so as expected he had diarrhoea. Ae was very concerned and made special meals for our son.We had a short tour of the Sunset Room + Bunk Room when it was vacant - I think we will try this accommodation on our next trip back to the farm!

We visited Ae and his lovely Thung Dong Farm for 5 nights with our 2 active boys aged 3 and 6. All 4 of us enjoyed it immensely and were all very sad to say goodbye to both Ae and all the animals. …

What a beautiful place! A little bit of heaven on earth at this farm in the middle of the jungle. Our son (4 years old) also loved it. Strolling around the yard, playing by the stream, feeding the animals, hiking with farmer Ae. He absolutely loved Ae. Logically, Ae is warm and helpful, nothing is too much for him. We also enjoyed the food. The ladies cook delicious Thai meals. If we go to Thailand again, we will definitely go back to Thung Dong Farm!
