I feel very bad about staying at this motel.1. Staff’s tone of voiceThe woman said check in and out. There would be a service charge on the money I paid, but it has no value whatsoever. They consistently respond with blunt and rude answers and tone of voice. I didn't do anything wrong, but I can hear the irritation and anger typical of women in Gyeongsang Province.2. Wrong age test methodWe do our best to check the age of our guests. We respect the accommodation's policies to prevent minors from entering and prevent accidents. As I took a walk around the area, I quickly realized that it was a neighborhood with a lot of young people. However, the method was very wrong.During check-in, they do an in-depth facial examination by staring at your face and saying unnecessary and unpleasant things such as 'It's difficult to check your ID card'. It's unpleasant.Rather than looking at the age of the guest's face with a sharp and suspicious eye, it wouldn't be unpleasant to check the ID card.(Should I be grateful for this kind of treatment when I turn 40 the day after tomorrow?)3. Rude female ownerMy group had some business to attend to, so we entered the room separately. As soon as someone else arrives, I get a call from the woman from earlier. I need to check the ID of anyone who just entered the room.I went to the bathroom now, so I said I would come down and do it right away and hung up. Five minutes later, someone knocks on the door and asks to see your ID. (What????) I didn't expect any kindness, but I'm not polite either. Do I have to show my ID when I ask someone who went to the bathroom to stop in the middle of pooping and come out?He said he would come down right away and show me his ID, but he ignored that. What the owner wants to do takes priority over the guests' requests. How can you stay in a place where there is no respect for you as a person? It seems to the female staff that guests are targets that can deceive the owner.I left the room right away because I felt bad because I was being constantly suspected and monitored as if I had committed a crime. When you entered that room, were you only looking at my room with the camera?Unfortunately, my group's ID card was in the car, so I had to go down, but I couldn't stay in this dirty mood, so I immediately made a reservation at the Mercure (Pullman) hotel and left without looking back. But on the way down the elevator, they stopped me on the 5th floor and asked me for my ID. (I guess this time, it doesn't say he's an adult on his face. I used to stare at him so hard that I had to use his eyes to tell.)I didn't want to run into the staff, so I left my key in the room... but the lady who was guarding the elevator going down and catching people like she was catching criminals made me feel very bad during the evening. I miss eating too... 🤢🤢Oh, if I claim hospital expenses, will I be compensated? The next day, while I was eating breakfast at Mercure, a woman called me again and asked, ‘What if I take my key with me? He gets really angry, saying, ‘I have to give my keys to the counter!!’ I placed it nicely on a very visible table.Did the female owner apologize even though she knew she had misunderstood? Not at all. ‘Ah-’ I hung up.If I had gotten angry at him or been rude to him, I would understand his attitude, but even as I write this, I don't understand it.Since I travel to many countries, I stay at hostels, dormitories, Airbnb, Marriott, Hilton, etc. for over 200 nights a year. However, this motel has the worst service compared to similarly rated accommodations. Even India wasn't like this... but the Korean motel service, which I thought was average, was terrible. The advantages are clear. The price is cheap. Still, the room isn't too dirty. If you wait, warm water will come out. Give bottled water. Give them a toothbrush. Give a towel. There are blankets and pillows. There is a TV.Even if you are old, you can still feel like you did 20 years ago when your ID is checked. If you are planning to stay at this motel, please bring your ID to prove that you are an adult. Also, if you have something to do and will be checking in later, be sure to stop by the 5th floor and have your ID checked. Or even if you ask them not to disturb, they will come and knock on your door. When checking out, be sure to return the key to the 5th floor and let them know that you have returned the key.Annoying language, anger, and rude behavior are the default, so brace yourself and go in.Or, like me, you get upset and go to another hotel. ^^I'll be visiting Sangnam-dong again in a month, so I'll come back then.Since I wrote a review like this, I have to take responsibility for my review.Even then, I won't tolerate such insults and will leave reviews on other platforms, blogs, Google TripAdvisor, and wherever else I can, and I will find fault with anything. We hope that we will treat our guests with better service. I will also save and capture this article.
