It’s a magnificent place where there is an atmosphere of absolute zenithude, you can stay there but I didn’t do it.On the other hand, there are two formulas that might interest you.The 200 THB formula which gives you access to breakfast (8 a.m. to 10 a.m.) with also access to the swimming pool, sauna and fitness room (no time limit to enjoy these facilities. The second formula is 350 THB, it’s for the same thing except that it’s for access to the lunch and dinner buffets. My disappointment is mainly due to the lack of maintenance of the place, a basketball court left abandoned, the deckchairs at the swimming pool in a pitiful state and the swimming pool not really very clean and even less so the sauna.I can understand that some establishments have had difficulty recovering from the “health crisis” but there is a minimum, especially when I see the training prices which are charged on site. What bothers me the most is that when I ask if it is possible to pay just to have access to the swimming pool, I am still made to pay 200 THB even if I do not want to have breakfast.By wanting too much, they will end up losing customers…..

A relaxing place for a health/detox retreat and also if you want to obtain knowledge and certifications in Taoism .Mantak Chia is a knowledgeable, competent and honest Taoist master. Its not necessarily an upmarket place where you would find the average yoga teacher or a lovely sound healing teacher or those in search of a superficial detox, the average self care path , the crowd is a little more mature, still seeking but more mature and in need of a bit more depth/knowledge.Treatments arent necessarily all spa like or for " love island types" .Acupuncture, cupping, energy fields, all sorts can all be found here so it is a little more on the medical side . Meals are cooked in a way Taoists deem healthy and many chinese herbs are used here. There is slightly nicer accommodation just a short walking distance from the complexA good educational centre for health/taoism.I was particularly impressed with the professionalism and maturity of a few of the teachers on site and using sound to release blocks from the body has been an interesting and effective therapeutic tool probably much needed in the West.

It's a magical place! A space for rejuvenation and spiritual work. I love the garden with some hidden corners and the old trees and all the cute details, there is so much meaning behind everything, for people who know about fengshui they will appreciate it, for those who don't know they will feel it. Also enjoyed the village and some cafés in about 5 minutes walk. Maybe it's not that luxurious place it's kept quite casual. But those who look for healthy and piecefull energy with good air here is the space, I'll come back for longer next year.

I have been coming to this resort for a long time, specializing in holistic care.Last stay December 2023The center is slowly reopening, blooming again, park cleaned, and top-notch care with practitioners who have been there for 20 years, faithful to Mantak chia.I only come for the treatments, very good, relaxing and rejuvenating,I don't do classes or sleep in the resort anymore because the beds are too hard.Concerning the buffet, it is ADEQUATE with the number of guests, their desire for non-waste and their acid-basic orientation, indeed, before Covid, it was average in quantity. In December, it was delicious, varied and healthy. If you're looking for oozing food buffets with lots of Chinese people, head in another direction! If you are looking for calm, rest, rejuvenating and therapeutic treatments, the tao garden is for you.Not recommended for children.

I came here for a healing retreat to help with my health problems but only ended up going to the first day of class. In a 4 hour session you are only allowed to go to the bathroom once when they have a break midway, you are told you should be able to hold it and called out for "letting the energy out of the room" if you leave. So since I have numerous health problems, I just ended up watching it in my room instead, which was disappointing... they should tell you that before you sign up or I never would have, could have done it online for a fraction of the price... the resort itself is very run down, and expensive for the quality of the rooms... I did really enjoy the saltwater pool though and the food was pretty good but again expensive... so I won't be back for another retreat, that's for sure, and I don't recommend it unless you can go 2 hours without going to the bathroom 😬
