Visiting South Korea was a long time dream of mine and I didn’t want to be completely alone while in South Korea.While researching accommodation options in Seoul I kept coming back to the “Kims Guesthouse” and all the excellent reviews. I felt confident and lucky to be able to secure accommodation at the Kims for 10 days of my trip.My expectations were blown away. Young-In and Sam are excellent hosts. Their house is spread over several floors and spotlessly clean. You only share a bathroom with who-ever else is on your floor so it’s 1 – 3 people max and they’re spotlessly clean (and modern) at all times.Breakfast at the Kims is a highlight. Young-In is an excellent cook.I met a lot of other travelers at the Kims and we went sight-seeing together, had meals together and even celebrated a birthday together. I can’t recommend the Kims highly enough and I do plan to go back.

Wonderful guesthouse, facilities are great and the hosts are very kind and helpful. Felt being treated as family. The location is very nice. It's calm and chill in the mountains but you are in the city in no time if you want to.

A great place to stay overnight, I especially want to mention the breakfast - Mrs. Kim cooks great. Overall, there is a homely and pleasant atmosphere. Among the possible difficulties, I can note the location on a slope - it may be difficult for people with heavy luggage to get there.

Surrounded by the sounds of cicadas all day, with a beautiful view of Bugak-san. According to the owners, most travelers come for the peace, hiking, and cafes/art scene. It takes about 8min of a hilly walk to the nearest bus stop, but they come pretty frequently and take a scenic route into central Seoul. Mrs. Kim is kind and does countless little things, like walking you to your taxi, introducing you to places based on your interests, etc. Amazing home cooked food and communal breakfast with other guests every day. Slow living at its best.
