Location:It can be hard to find for the first time. It's walking distance to Insadong, the palace and access to the train station 5 minutes away. Fun neighborhood with shops and cafes.Experience:Traditional Hanok Experience. Rooms were small but comfortable and cozy complete with sleeping mats.Staff are friendly. Food was good.

The makings of a very good place are here, but the owners are overextended and can't give it enough attention. Our room was spacious with 2 windows but the sleeping mats were terribly thin. …

I already stayed at this place for a week 2 years ago, but the place is no longer clean. I realized that my room had not been made up when I arrived and that I was probably staying in the previous guest's room! …

I took a single room. I came across a family next door with a baby. Every night I was awake. Not cool. But it's not the owners' fault. I just think the soundproofing isn't great. …

I have to admit that I was a little scared after reading the comments here. However, we have not encountered any of the problems mentioned. We were received very warmly by our host who spoke English fluently! …

Went korea twice, 1st time staying in a traditional hanok house. We arrived early around 10 plus, thus, the rooms are not ready. So we deposited our luggage and went to nearby attractions. …
