We stayed here for two days (check-in during the day on April 2 and check-out in the morning on April 4). We used KAKAO map to find this store successfully. After ringing the bell, the kind grandma came out of the house to greet her and greeted her kindly. We explained the password on the door and how to put luggage inside. If you don’t understand Korean, it is recommended to use translation software to communicate, because grandma only speaks Korean. We are looking forward to checking in.In addition, because my grandma’s daughter is in confinement, she cannot come to help run the B&B. This hard-working grandma is left to deal with the B&B issues alone, which is extremely difficult. I hope those who come can be a little tolerant.shortcoming:1) Small black ants may occasionally appear on the ground2) The smell from the bathroom and toilet will waft out3) The bath water occasionally goes hot and cold4) There is a lot of clutter in public spacesadvantage:1) Floor heating is provided and the floor will be warm2) You can feel as if you are back at your grandma’s house3) You can feel the true appearance of a traditional Korean house4) You can have simple traditional Korean dishes for breakfast5) There are some historical furnishings in the house that you can appreciate.6) Walking distance to the subway➡️This Korean house is old, so it is understandable that it is damaged, but I still hope that the smell in the toilet can be improved.➡️Grandma is very cute and kind. When we have breakfast, she will hide in the cubicle and eat breakfast silently by herself.➡️I felt very happy to take a photo with my grandma

Please, really don’t go there. The entrance is very smelly and dirty. The owner’s clothes and shoes are all drying in the hall. Pickles and squid are also drying out. There is a foul smell of squid. Not only that, the air conditioner in the room is broken and cannot be turned on. It is extremely stuffy and cannot sleep at all. It is also in an alley, which is extremely dangerous. Please don't believe other reviews. We actually went there and discovered this situation and left and checked out immediately on the same day. The photos are attached below.

Pro: you can experience the traditional hanokCons: dirty, smelly cause the toilet in your room is dirty, noisy, EXPENSIVE (I paid 170 usd per night) and it was a horrible experience.I wont stay here if I were you.

It feels like staying at a Korean-style house. The location is also convenient and good. The room had a smell in the bathroom, and the shower pressure and hot water were a bit weak.I understand that the old lady doesn't speak English, but the outside door lock is numbered, so be sure to check the notice in the room.Even then, you will have to mark it with a sharp mark or other marks, so we recommend that you ask how to open it in advance.Maybe I won't stay there next time.

Before coming to Seoul, we stayed at a hanok in Mokpo and were very satisfied.I'm sure the Haemil Hanok was once beautiful but didn't get the attention it needed to keep it in good condition. The Korean lady who was there when we arrived was very friendly. Although she couldn't speak English, we managed to check in.Breakfast was also prepared by her and was Korean style, spicy and unfortunately too spicy for my kids.It seems that the lady is continuing the business from her daughter. If that's the case, then that explains the situation, because you might be able to run a business like this on your own, but the maintenance is lacking.Cupboards are broken, seat cushions stained, the hole in the sliding door was only covered by the curtain. There was no extra pad for the traditional mattresses. That was very uncomfortable for me because I couldn't see whether the covers for the mat can be washed at all. And also these mattresses were slightly stained. The common area has things lying around all over the place making it very untidy. For me it was not a place to rest. After one night at the guesthouse, I decided to move to another place in Seoul for a relaxing time.

Kind grandma who also cooks our simple breakfast.Do not expect to sleep in comfort if you are not used to sleeping on the floor with a thin mattress.Built in toilet is functional, but the sink and cabinet are falling apart needs some maintenance soon. The entrance is not obvious, google map is not useful hee, use Kakao map which shows the narrow walkway more clearly.
