Daily hotel prices in Seoul are quite high for us Brazilians. In that sense, finding a place like the Elm Tree Guesthouse,in the heart of Myeong-dong - the city's central area -, it is really very rewarding. It is a peaceful, clean and well-maintained environment. The cost/benefit ratio is very advantageous for the traveler. We are not talking about paradise here but, all things considered, it is an option to be recommended. There is a wide range of popular restaurants nearby, with many typical Korean food options. I would definitely return if I ever returned to Seoul.

This place is basically a firey death trap. Rooms are about 12ft by 8ft, no means of escape should a fire happen.
