Hanok stay in the middle of Seoul. It was a new and fun experience to tour Seoul like a foreigner. Even though it was near the food alley, it was quieter than I expected so it was nice to be able to rest comfortably.

I was worried that it would be inconvenient due to the nature of the accommodation, which is a hanok, but it was close to convenience facilities and tourist attractions, and it was especially nice because all the necessities were prepared so that I could just go by myself. It was nice that there was even a parking lot. I’m going to take a lot of pretty pictures!

Hanok private house. There were 4 people, including myself, and it was a small size that was perfect for 3 to 4 people. It may be a bit difficult to find as it is located inside an alley. However, because it is located inside, there is also the advantage that you can feel at ease even if you play noisily with your friends. When you enter, there are tables and chairs where you can sit in the yard. The living room has a variety of simple drinking games and a TV. Note that you can also watch Netflix on the TV!There are two rooms, excluding the living room, and each room sleeps two people, which was perfect. It was nice to have air conditioning in both rooms and the living room.Other than that, there is a small kitchen (+ microwave, refrigerator).Oh, and there is no basic bottled water, but there is a water purifier :) I drank so much that I forgot there was a water purifier haha;;;There is a Hanaro Mart or CU nearby, so you can buy groceries!I think it's nice and cozy here. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

We went a family trip to Seoul for parents and relative visiting and for kids school break. We planed 30 days trip for Seoul and multiple local cities including staying Korean traditional house as experience. My kids was born in Korea but they never had an experience for traditional Korean style house which has a yard in middle of house with multi angle house architecture. Actually, the initial expectation wasn't that high because most of Korean traditional house today is aged and may not have a good conditions. However, it didn't take a minute to confirm that my perception was completely wrong. The house was renovated very well and all setup for guest was perfect. The quality of service was very professional and it was impressed very much. They are just next main food street and you can get to the very well known restaurant street within few minutes by walk and you can enjoy high quality Korean with very reasonable price. Believe it or not, we enjoyed unbelievable high quality Korean beep with impossible price in the street. My kids just ate it with silence. You can go to the palace by walk as well and you can enjoy night scene of the palace. I didn't notice they have free parking space because my wife made the reservation but found that they have one free parking lot for guest. It was few minute distance by walk. The house was very quiet surprisingly even though the location is very near from main restaurant street. The structure of the house gave us very good privacy and we didn't have any concern about a privacy during the stay. Unfortunately we only stayed one night during the trip but the impression was strong enough to memorize it long.If you are interesting to stay in Korean style house, please try this location which is at right next of the palace.
