Room is in great need of renovation. The shared kitchen described does not exist or is full of junk and there is only one microwave. Staff is friendly. Location is also good right next to the temple 😊

The first impression is the smellThe moment you enter the room, you can smell the body odor, the towels, bed, pillows...I hesitate to use that towel after showering. The staff were very nice!!

A central and pleasant place, it has a palace nearby and a seven seems very precise and quite accessible to me.

Anyway, the location is good. The bus stop to Incheon Airport is just a 2-minute walk away, and a convenience store is right next door, so it's very convenient.

Conveniently located just a few steps from Jongno Station. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. However, the towels provided are quite small.During your stay, the staff will not clean your room; you will need to manage this yourself. You are entitled to a free cleaning if you stay for more than 7 days. If you need clean small towels, place the used ones in the designated box in the lobby and take fresh ones from the shelf next to it.There is no longer any dining service available at the hotel; these services have been discontinued. However, there is a 7-Eleven on the ground floor. If there is no staff at the reception, there is a phone on the desk that you can use to contact someone.

The location is very good, about 6 minutes walk from the station and Changdeokgung Palace right in front of it.The walls were thin and I could hear my neighbors talking, so I brought earplugs. There was no hot water from the shower and it was cold.Towels were exchanged, and trash was voluntarily disposed of at the front desk.I cannot recommend it to anyone other than those who value the price.

A friend and I stayed here as our first stop for our Korea trip, and do I say it set the standard for the rest of the trip. The staff member on hand was very sweet, when we got there he explained everything in English that we would need to know. Even when it came time to do laundry, he had asked if it was alright to leave inside the room - everything had been folded and left neatly without us having to do much effort! Our room was lovely, spacious bathroom with a wall long mirror - it felt like the type of room you’d shoot a slice of life show inside? The room was very clean too.City life is close by, multiple stores around and even a temple nearby to view. The only qualms would be that the walls are a little thin, so neighbours are easy to hear. The room was well used too, but that wasn’t much a problem. We had a few issues with hairdryers however - but this room was rather spacious, I’d definitely return!

Good location as it is very near Changdeokgung and also walkable to Insadong. In fact, if you like walking, it is walkable to Myeongdong, too. Near to eateries and Ikseondong Hanok Village. Has a convenience store just next door. Friendly front counter guy who is very conversant in English. Love the plants all around in the hostel! Clean and has all the necessary amenities. Has laundry service, but would be better if it was self-service coin-operated. Good sized family/quad room with tv that has youtube and netflix! Some people commented about the thin walls, but we had no issues with that. Was very quiet at night, as the road in front isn't a large busy road.Sadly, the hostel has seen slightly better days when there was an eatery onsite. Walls are peeling slightly in some parts. One difficulty we had was not being able to put toilet paper in the toiletbowl, but we had to throw them into the bin provided. It's a challenge for doing big business... We found this practice in a few places in Insadong and even in a small eatery in Myeongdong. I guess it's from the old infrastructure and sewage.Overall, it is still very much value for money for a clean, relatively well-maintained place, large room, and amenities!
