Really nice hotel located about 5 mins from central Myeongdong by subway or 15 mins walk. Everything is super nice and new and clean, breakfast is good, service is excellent. Small 24 hour convenience store on site which was helpful for snacks/drinks etc.Two small issues that I feel would make this place 5 stars:1. No outlets/USB ports next to the bed in this day and age, in a brand new hotel is criminal. The only place to charge items is on the desk area which is pretty inconvenient if you need your phone but need to charge it.2. I don't know how often this happens but 3 nights of our 4 night stay the place has been filled by school age kids on some kind of school trip. They are wild, completely overrun the elevators for hours at a time in the morning and evening, going up and down to the convenience store.

Cleanliness was a mess. There is mold on the bathroom wall and stains on the carpet in the room.It was a grand opening, but they remodeled the old motel level hotel and just put the IHG name on it. The service and staff training are a mess, and there are no IHG member benefits at all.The air conditioner is fixed at 25 degrees. Are you kidding? There is no cooling at all ㄷ ㄷ The air conditioner cannot be lowered below 25 degrees, so the temperature has to be turned on for several hours to barely reach 25 degrees ㄷ ㄷEven though the hair dryer is fixed to the toilet instead of the door, the cord is short so you have to dry your hair on the toilet. You have to keep pressing the power button to start the hair dryer. The shower curtain doesn't have any weights attached to the bottom, so the curtain flies around every time I shower. The shower water flow type cannot be changed, the water pressure is very low, and the bathtub water does not drain well. The room has a bit of space, the bedding is good, and the design is good, but the bathroom was built without much thought. It's a hotel where you feel even dirtier when you shower. There are much better hotels in this price range. Totally not recommended. If it's going to be weird for one night, go somewhere else. The only restaurants nearby that are good for eating are braised cutlassfish, and you have to go to Myeongdong or Seoul Station to get there. In that case, I should just go to a hotel in Myeongdong or Seoul Station. I won't go there again. I went there because they said it was new, but it ruined my trip.

While the newly introduced furnishings garnered some praise, the overall experience fell short of the expected standards.Service, a vital aspect of any hotel stay, failed to leave a positive mark. The absence of service staff and concierge in the lobby, coupled with the unwelcoming demeanor of receptionist Diane Shee, painted a dismal picture. The noise pollution from a busy street infiltrating the low-floor room, combined with lackluster air conditioning, marred the tranquility one seeks in a hotel stay. Moreover, the lack of attention to detail in housekeeping, evident in crumpled bedsheets and an overall lack of cleanliness, added to the disappointment. The breakfast chaos during the hotel peak season, coupled with an outdated bathtub shower with a ‘body-sticking’ shower curtain, further detracted from the overall guest experience.

I don’t recommend staying at this hotel in Seoul at all. I am an ihg Diamond + Ambassador member. The hotel clearly has vacancies but they won’t upgrade me. The hotel clearly has vacancies but won’t let me check out late. The hotel clearly knew it was a couple checking in, but insisted on arranging a twin room. The hotel obviously has ice but does not provide ice. Is this really the standard of a four-star hotel in the IHG Group? It’s still a VOCO hotel, but Jiangnan VOCO can meet my requirements. The bathroom design is very poor. New hotels still use shower curtains to separate wet and dry areas. There is no separate shower area, so you have to stand in the bathtub to take a showerI will not stay at this hotel again in Seoul
