The hotel was quite difficult to locate. It's situated on a small alley off a side street. Check-in was flawlessly quick and efficient. Maybe a sign or navigation direction upon booking would be very helpful.Unfortunately, the room was appallingly lacking. I expected something livable. This was not it. There was hair all over the floor and under the beds. The toilet lacked headroom as our bathroom was directly below the stairs. Together with the heating system which fluctuated between freezing cold and broiling hot, showering became a real pain. The photos on the booking website was very misleading and a testament to the impressive capabilities of Photoshop. The beds were fine, the floor heating was very comfortable, the WiFi was great and the owner was very friendly so the stay wasn't all bad. I had to HUNT DOWN AND KILL A COCKROACH with my slipper though which was definitely disturbing but kind of fun?I guess my room could be summed up in "great soft product, terrible hard product". To the owner, sorry for being so harsh, but I hope some improvements are implemented like better sanitation, switching to a heating system that doesn't want to kill its user and perhaps, some internal remodelling for that particular room.

The stay was comfortable and cozy. The location is at the alley right beside Myeongdong Station Exit 1, it’s really great. However, it is not for fussy people, the room and bathroom is rather small (it is normal in korea). Don’t come if you expect hotel standards from a guesthouse.Owner came into the room while we are outside, I have no idea how to enable the room heater when I came back the heater is switched on! (Thank you!) The owner is really friendly and helpful.

This is a small guest house and unfortunately the photos posted on hotel booking websites are deceiving due to post processing. Check in was faulty straight forward. Keyless entry but I was a bit concerned about the manager verbally telling me the password when others can here. The rooms unsanitary. Hair is everywhere, which I really hate and is a pet peeve. The towels were dirty to the point where we had to buy our own from the department store just around the corner. The place is very difficult to find. I believe the building number is 5A. In order to get to 5A, you would have to go inside a dark back alley in which no one would suspect at first. Perhaps a sign at the alley entrance would greatly help. I included 2 photos of the alley so others can better find it. Overall, I would not return. We only stayed here because it was close to the subway and Myeongdong

The room was not as advertised. Very dirty and small. If you were placed on the upper floor, get ready to drag and lift your heavy luggages climbing the stairs. The door to the guesthouse was opened 24/7 making it feel insecure as intruders can enter anytime. Located in the back alley in Myeongdong area. Will not patronize this place ever again.
