It is located at the back of the Novotel Hotel, which is about a 5-minute walk from Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station. In front of the hotel, there is a cafe-bar-like store that is always crowded. This time I booked on Agoda and stayed on Saturday. It was about 8,100 yen for a room without meals. The room was a standard double of 21 square meters, but it was spacious, and the bath was large and had a bathtub. The interior was retro or old, but it was nice and tasteful.Shampoo etc. were prepared in mini size, and there were also two free bottles of mineral water in the refrigerator. There is a USB and Korean outlet next to the bed for convenience.Being close to the station and having a low price is quite attractive.I realized later that there were many clean, modern rooms with no retro feel at all, with separate areas inside the building!thank you very much!

It was convenient as it was close to downtown. The room is not that bigOverall, it seemed like the only thing being cleaned was the floor.Maybe it's a cultural differenceThe shower and toilet floors are flat. There was a half wall separating the toilet and shower, but there was no door.I was careful when using the shower because the floor of the bathroom got wet.If you have a room that is not a flatPlease inform the hotel of this in advance.I recommend making a reservation.Don't they pay that much attention to construction and painting? The toilet door didn't closeThe paint on the front door also seemed to be peeling off.I only stay overnight without meals.I don't really care about how it looks thoughThe smell from the drain is quite strongIt kept smelling like kimchi. Is this also a cultural difference? .The toilet was clean as usual.Japanese people can also use it without any resistance.Spend time with someone you know, orAs long as you go aloneI don't think it bothers me at all.

・Hotels in cheap and convenient locations・The structure feels old, but it has been renovated and is very comfortable.・The staff at the front desk was very responsive.

The only amenities provided are soap, so if you need shampoo, you can purchase an amenity set at the front desk. When you reserve a room, you can wash the room whether it is a room with a window or a room without a window.Rooms without windows are equipped with air purifiers. The bed was comfortable and I didn't have any problems during my stay.

Take the KTX, Saemaeul, or Mugunghwa train and get off at Seoul Station. Take Seoul Subway Line 4 to 4 stops. Get off at 'Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station (formerly Dongdaemun Stadium Station)' and arrive at the hotel in 6-7 minutes on foot. The hotel is old (since 1962, over 60 years), but it was recently remodeled so there are no problems staying there. The area near the hotel is a working-class neighborhood, so there are many cheap restaurants. You can reserve your stay at a low price through the hotel reservation site. This is a tourist hotel where you can stay at a low price if you have something to do near Jungbu Market, Bangsan Market, Pyeonghwa Market, Gwangjang Market, and Dongdaemun Market.p.s) There is a room salon on the 2nd and 3rd floors of this hotel, which would be good for male guests who come to Seoul for business and need to be treated to drinks. However, since there is only one elevator in this hotel, everyone uses it, but if a woman stays alone, We need to think about this.

We recommend this hotel as it has a good location and the accommodation costs are low. There are some disappointing aspects, such as the cleaning not being done properly and the karaoke being extremely noisy even though it's 12am 😂
