₩162,000 Solo Room for 3 nights (Agoda)📍 K-Guesthouse Dongdaemun 1Staff was very capable. There's an elevator so no problems with luggages. Altho the receiving area was tiny, it was clean and there's always someone there.Ask for towels at the reception, also dispose of used towels in the bin.Room I got was small but good sized for me. There were slippers, hairdryer, tv, ac, hot shower/faucet.Common area for guests- there's hot/cold water dispenser, kitchen dining hall where you can use plates cups utensils microwave etc.Location wise, so convenient. Airport bus stop (Baiton Hotel) was just across the road, and a short walk to Dongdaemun Station Exits 6 and 7. There's also 7-11, cafes nearby.Guests should also clean up before checking out. I sorted my plastic bottles and miscellaneous in separate containers and threw them in the recycling bins (hallway). You're actually kinda asked to do so./travelspeedx

A big shout out to the manager Mr. Park (박은총님)!!! Our family and I have traveled throughout Korea for over two weeks and Mr. Park provided the best service that we have experienced in all of hospitalities.From the first phone call, he was always available and accommodating who genuinely listened to the inquiries of our concerns. As we stayed here for three days, he consistently stayed friendly, professional and went above to make us feel at home. He truly went above and beyond when we accidentally left a luggage at guesthouse. He ensured of consistent communication and the safety of our returning luggage. Mr. Park is the highest gold standard of hospitality and service!!Thank you Mr. Park for your consistent hard work and dependability. The owner of this guesthouse is truly blessed to have you as part of their staff. Next time we visit Korea, I’d like to visit you just to say thank you in-person again. You have been amazing sir!!!

K Guesthouse is a guesthouse located about 8 minutes walk from Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station, and there are many affiliated stores, and it is rather close to Jongnoga.This time we stayed in an economy double 12 square meter room.Booked on Agoda for 1 night without meals on weekdays for around 6,500 yen.Local payment, check in 3pm check out 11amThe provisions for extension and damages were detailed.Although it is cheap, the location is a little far from the station.K Guest House Dongdaemun Premier is closer to the station and feels cheaper!thank you very much!

You get what you pay for, and this is a cheap option. However the mould and filth in the rooms is not something anyone would expect in any place while travelling - it is a health hazard, specially for an asthmatic person staying in that room. Also, there was an infestation of mosquitoes in the room too, which made our 1 night very unpleasant. Even when using repellent , we still got bitten quite badly.We checked out 2 nights earlier than planned. If you happen to get a room facing the street, expect a lot of noise and cold air, as the windows are leaky. The spring mattress is not great ( you can feel the springs) but the dirt and state of the room was by far our biggest disappointment. When we informed the reception staff about it - we were invited to leave paying only one night and getting a reimburse through booking for the other 2 nights (there was no effort to try help the issues we were having). 2 days later, we receive an email from booking telling us the owner has refused to reimburse anything. Not trustworthy, we feel completely disappointed with our experience in this hostel and would not recommend it to anyone who expects some decency, specially from the front staff.

I don't understand the bad grades. We had a small but very clean room with air conditioning, the owners were lovely, always helpful, one evening one of the employees made donuts and knocked on all the doors to offer them, they were delicious. You have everything nearby, bus/metro stop, supermarket. You even get to use the washing machine for free, I wonder what more you want…
