We stayed at Dongchonjae for a night and it was definitely a highlight of our trip to Korea. This place was beautiful. We stayed during one of the coldest days in December but it was warm and cozy. We had the best sleep here. Great location as well to get to main attractions in Seoul. Hosts were very kind and breakfast they prepared was amazing. Highly recommend this place if you want to experience what it's like to live in hanok.

Dongchonjae, an old house whose name seems to have a deep meaning, is located in Seochon near Gyeongbokgung Palace, which preserves the history of the old Joseon Dynasty and the spirit of Inwangsan Mountain. The surrounding Inwangsan Mountain and Bukaksan Mountain and the scenery were all amazing, and the location was great as it was in the center of Seochon, a hot spot I wanted to visit. ^ ^ I was very grateful to the friendly hosts, and the breakfast provided as a service was not up to the standard of service haha. It was very delicious and a great experience. I did. Gorgeous!
