We like this place for several reasons: The rooms are fantastic, front desk is excellent, and it's located within a beautiful park perfect for exercising day or night. It's also right next to a beautiful metro station with express trains. We've stayed there quite often now during the last 12 months.So why only 3 stars? Because it's missing one of the best parts of a hotel experience - a lobby where you can relax, hang out, and get a coffee or a drink. If you are not a big breakfast person (and many people are not these days) and you just want to sit somewhere with a cup of coffee and maybe a croissant, there's no real place to do that here. Or maybe you want to get some eggs and a bloody mary or a glass of champagne - no place to sit except for the formal restaurant where I was kicked out for sitting down with a cup of coffee that they offer for free. I'd be happy to pay for my coffee in exchange for a place to linger.They do have a bar at the top floor but many people don't want to hang out at a bar if you just want to get a drink or two and plus, it's not open in the mornings. Maybe they are catering to the way Koreans or Asians do hotel stays, but for most foreigners I think the absence of a place to hang out over a cup of coffee is very much missed. We like this place overall but will be trying a few other places to see if we can get the full hotel experience.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my child.Take the subway from Incheon Airport and it's right next to Magok Station.Run around with your kids in the huge botanical park,There are many restaurants nearby, so although I didn't do any sightseeing, I was able to spend a very relaxing time.We were upgraded to a better room.The room had a great view of Botanic Park.The most surprising thing was that there was an LG styler and air purifier in the room.I've been wanting a styler.I would love to stay again.

I really enjoyed staying at the Courtyard Marriott by the Botanic garden. The area is off the beaten path but we loved the tranquility and quiet from the main Seoul center. It was super close to hongdae so if we wanted the hustle and bustle - it’s easy to head in.Lastly - huge plus - they have filtered water dispensers in the room. What a game changer and also so eco friendly. I loved this and wish all hotels had this !!

Edit: Sept 2024I stayed once again at this hotel due to its approximaty to Gimpo. Please be careful if you’re a female and staying in their suites. There is a large gap between the shades and the window that faces the office buildings. From the shower area, I can use my phone and zoom in while facing the mirror and see the office buildings across. This means that they 100% can see me. I complained to the front desk and the lady told me no one has ever had this issue. Which is bs because their Korean review site shows otherwise. Apparently this hotel had an issue when a male worker walked in on a female while showering.. I like this hotel but I don’t think it’s safe for females======I’ve stayed in their basic room precovid and suite recently. If this was 2+ years ago, I would have given them 5 stars. But now …3 at mostFrom a distance, this place looks clean but if you inspect carefully, there are stains everywhere and even the bedsheets had a hole in it but they still continued to use it. Oh and the stains were easily gone with a wipe which means the cleaners do not thoroughly clean this place.The service is meh too. Idk what happened but even on a non-holiday and weekday, I had to walk up to the cashier to place my order because no one attended to me at the restaurant. In the end, I ate my meal without even water. No way this is a 4 star hotel like they claim. Also, during peak season, they probably should separate the line into elite and non elite members. I waited 30 minutes in line which is ridiculous honestly even if it’s busy.Pros are the location, food quality, and Marriott redemption rates. It’s a station away from Gimpo airport and has direct access to Incheon. It’s located in a quiet and beautiful area, with not much going on, but if you enjoy peace, then highly recommended. Food at breakfast, lounge, and restaurant were of quality for a cheap price for hotel standards. It’s a category 3 hotel so it’s definitely worth redeeming points here since their daily rates are over 150 usd average.

I stayed at the Seoul Botanical Garden before it opened, so I stayed here again after quite a while.It was a good impression back then, and it was really good this time too.Platinum member benefits were good, and the reasonably priced robot delivery was also good.Only the hallway noise was annoying.I want to come back to rest again.

It is a 5-minute taxi ride from Gimpo Airport.The hotel was very clean and the receptionist was very nice.The breakfast buffet is also delicious.I was satisfied ^_^However, although it's not the hotel's fault, the taxi driver who picks us up from the airport is naturally aiming for a ride to Seoul, and when I mention that the location is the Marriott in Gimpo, I can't hide the feeling that he's an old man. Come on, it's very unpleasant. I've stayed here three times, and each time I've been annoyed with the taxi driver from the airport. I feel like this would be impossible in Japan.Please rest assured that the hotel was very good ❗️

I’ve stayed here twice now, and it keeps getting better! The experience actually started right after booking when the staff noticed I had booked two rooms under my name. They reached out to make sure there wasn’t a mistake, which I really appreciated since I had to book a room for my mother-in-law and aunt. The hotel was incredibly clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. After a long flight with a 2-year-old, the warm and welcoming staff made check-in so much easier. They even had the crib I requested set up in my room before I arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend this great place to stay!

Very nice place to stay. Very clean, service is nice. The location is next to Airport railroad and Line 9, so it is very easy to get on the subway. It is next to a large Botanic park to walk around exercise, or just to enjoy the moment. The vicinity has many very good restaurants, convenience stores, a shopping market, ramen, etc. We loved that area.

It is located about 10 minutes by Airport Railroad from Hongik University Station.Gimpo Airport was 4 minutes away by Airport Railroad.Although it is far from Gangnam, it is easy to get to from the Hongik University entrance, making it perfect for those who want to spend a quiet night.There are all new buildings around the hotel, and there are quite a lot of restaurants nearby, so it was fun to walk around and find them.There is an entrance to the subway from the back of the hotel.I think it's hard to get wet even on rainy days. It took about 1 minute if I walked briskly.The room was new, spacious and clean with hardwood floors.There is a refrigerator, but there were glasses and a water purifier instead of plastic bottles.The overall environment is eco-friendly, with bar soap, shampoo/rinse/body shampoo, body lotion, cotton swabs, combs, and a hair dryer, but no toothpaste or razors.The morning meal was a buffet type.I had a chance to eat it this time, and it was a very delicious and happy meal.A robot will do simple room service for you! The wooden room key was lovely!

Nice hotel with high tech amenities in the hotel as well as in the room. The robot delivery for convenience items is key attraction and not to forget, this hotel has automatic bidet which made me feel happy 😁.Rooms: very spacious with great view specially the garden viewCheck-in: very smooth and quickService: Average and automatic with robotsPrice: bit overpriced specifically I didn't have breakfast includedNearby Activities: A lot for eating option in 10 minutes walk and as an Indian, I was able to find Delhi 6 - very good Indian restaurant.Recommended.
