This is a business hotel with somewhat nice room interiors.I was expecting it because it is a Banyan Tree affiliated hotel and is a new hotel...Overall it was disappointing.Maybe it's because it was the peak season and the prices were high....Cleaning condition was good.First of all, I used a room for 4 people, but the door was made of wooden bars and transparent glass, so it would be embarrassing if it wasn't for a couple + child. Even if you close the door, you can see everything from the sofa as soon as you step through the bathroom door.Be sure to completely change your clothes in the bathroom.Also, be careful because there is a gap behind the sink so if items roll, they will fall. This is usually a blocked area, but there is a sliding door behind it, which is difficult.Also, perhaps because the room structure was changed midway, the floor is uneven and the floor near the window is even soft (the steps are straight to the naked eye).And on the 21st floor, there are two elevators.Although the number of rooms per floor is small, check-out, breakfast, etc. times are...In hot summer, walking to the beach is a bit of an awkward distance.Parking seems to be on the sidewalk if there is no space.It's elevator parking, but it's fast so it's surprisingly not that bad.The breakfast menu has a difficult structure. Especially tteokbokki??It would be better to focus on specialized menus and reduce the number of items.The bar staff don't seem to be used to their work yet. As people were standing in line to order, the two employees were all looking at the team in front who was thinking about the menu. It would be efficient to at least hand out menus to other teams waiting. Rather, a pool employee who was passing by came and handed out a menu...Families who used the pool said they couldn't stay for long because the bleach smell was so strong. (Smell of bleach = foreign substances mixed into the water)If you look at the customers at the bar, there are quite a few people wearing regular t-shirts and not even a drop of water on their bodies. It seems like they should post a sign that says showering is required before entering...I think this would be a good place to stay for people in their 20s or early 30s who want to take pictures by the infinity pool.

This hotel is fairly new(opened June 2024.). The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Depending on your room, you will either have a nice seaside view or you will bexstaring at the building next door!Hotel parking is limited, and it is a"car lift." Essentially an elevator for your car. The best method of getting on and off of this device is to back into it. You may get stuck in the parking area due to some considerate drivers blocking the already small parking areas on floors 3 through 5.The rooms appear to have been extended, so the floor will be uneven and "soft" in some spots. Another issue is that the shower will get clogged if you have long hair that tends to fall out when showering. It's an easy fix. Just unclog the hair trap; however, it is not something I wanted to have to do on vacation.There are only two elevators for 21 floors. This can cause you to have a prolonged wait to go anywhere, unless you do not mind walking down the stairs.There is a decent bar on the 21st floor with a jacuzzi and an infinity pool. The pool is not as big as one would expect, and depending on the time of day, it can be packed with people.There is a breakfast buffet that runs from 7am until 1030am. It is a decent spread; however, there could be a long wait. The hotel recommends coming at 830 to avoid the "rush." I recommend coming at 7 or 9 to avoid the waiting and crowd of people.The beach is about a 600m straight shot away from the hotel. It is not a "clean" beach, and it is crowded with all kinds of people. One saving grace of this area is that the Sokcho Eye is located at this beach. It offers a birdseye view of the area. Another highlight is there are some good restaurants and cafes in the area.

The night view along with the warm water pool is also very pretty,It was a spacious and pretty room that was perfect for traveling with family!Even if you are traveling with friends, there is no need to worry.The location was good, close to the terminal, starting from the lobby.It had a hotel-like atmosphere ✨The building next door is still under construction.Parking was a bit inconvenientBreakfast also had a good variety.You can enjoy the swimming pool without being crowded depending on the reservation time.It was nice to run, and the coffee in the lobby was so delicious 💚

Home Marina Sokcho Hotel newly opened in June 2024It was nice to have a comfortable stay after traveling. The staff are very friendly and it is a 5-minute walk from Sokcho Express Bus Terminal, so it is a good place to stay for travelers on the go.It was nice to be able to try a variety of menus for breakfast, and there was also a rooftop heated pool, so I was able to spend my time healing. Especially during the summer vacation season, it was held from 7 to 10 PM every day, so I was able to have more fun.The interior of the accommodation was comfortable and the beds were very comfortable and clean, so it was a great hotel for healing!If I go to Sokcho again next time, I recommend it as it is a place I definitely want to stay😊

ㅇSummary:I trusted the Banyan name and paid a lot of money, but only the 'accommodation fee' was Banyan. The staff was friendly in the new facility, but the most important convenience and service quality were very poor. Don't plan on staying more than 2 nights, but it's a perfect place to stay for 1 night, enjoy the morning and evening views, and take Instagram photos from the rooftop. ‘With babies’ is also not recommended because the space is small and the movement route is adult-oriented.ㅇAdvantages:1. View restaurants - Cheongcho Lake, Ulsanbawi Oeseorak, Sokcho Port2. Newly built, clean, friendly staff3. Good for young people to have fun as there is a rooftopㅇDisadvantages:1. It is too hot because the room has a large window structure. The internal structure is also strange, with lights blocking the air conditioner's wind.2. Inconvenient and scary(?) parking3. Poor essential services such as refilling of room consumables4. Perhaps because the operation algorithm for the two elevators has not been stabilized, they always go together, so the waiting time for passengers is too long.

It was nice that it was in the perfect location for sightseeing in Sokcho, with nearby tourist attractions such as Sokcho Beach, Mt. Seorak, and Cheongcho Lake, as well as restaurants and cafes nearby.It is a hotel where you can enjoy both the beautiful scenery during the day and the wonderful night view at night, and because it is a clean, newly built hotel, you can relax more comfortably :)The infinity pool located on the 21st floor rooftop allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cheongcho Lake, Sokcho Beach, and Seoraksan Mountain during the day, and at night, a pool party with DJ music is held, making your stay even more fun!I want to stay again next time I travel to Sokcho✨

It's new, so the interior of the accommodation is very clean, the atmosphere of the accommodation is very nice, and it's close to the terminal, so it's easy to use by bus!

The room, staff service, and location were all excellent.The location was convenient as it was in the middle of all tourist attractions (squid pancake, Sokcho Beach, market, etc.), so it was within 10 minutes from anywhere.The staff were also very friendly and I felt treated well.The room condition was very good, and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, so I was able to enjoy a dreamlike trip. The room window was full-length, so the view of Cheongcho Lake and the East Sea outside was really nice.It would be nice to enjoy the infinity pool and breakfast together. The breakfast was diverse and tasted better than expected, and the infinity pool was warm because it was a heated pool, so I was able to stay there. Haha, I think it would be nice to enjoy the infinity pool both day and night. Recommended to go around sunset and enjoy it! There is also a DJ show on Friday and Saturday nights, so if you want to enjoy it, go at the right time!!

I think Home Marina is the only place in Sokcho where you can see Cheongcho Lake in such a great way 🥹🥹 The terminal is 5 minutes away, so it was a great location for walking. (The photo is the view from inside the room!)
