A quiet and cozy pension right in front of Hajodae BeachWe stayed for two nights on a family trip for our 24th wedding anniversary at the end of March. The first day is the 3rd floor, the second day is the 1st floor. The view outside the window shown on the website is based on the 3rd floor.(It would be a perfect view if there were no electric poles... but it's a shame)There are buildings sporadically in the residential area built right in front of the beach. It's one of those buildings.I'm not sure if it's because the economic calculations aren't right or why, but there aren't actually many buildings in the district created in that way, but there are quite a few buildings in front of Hajodae Beach.Hajodae Beach is the best of all the beaches I've been to so far. It’s a 1-minute walk from the pension. There are three floors starting from the first floor, which starts about 1 meter above the ground.Unfortunately, there is no elevator, so if you have strong legs and stamina that can easily lift your suitcase, you can choose the view view. The building is said to have been built with great care by the owner and his wife.It looks ordinary from the outside, but the inside is very special. Both the 2-person and 4-person rooms have the same width, with the only difference being the depth.By introducing a Japanese-style structure, the bed and balcony area are designed to be about 60 centimeters higher than the floor. The floor of the room is heated, probably by an electric ondol, so if you raise the room temperature, you can sleep on a warm floor.Except for the front door, all doors are sliding doors, and a sliding door about two doors wide is placed between the entrance and the room to ensure windproofing, soundproofing, and privacy. When this door is opened, it hides the small kitchen located in one corner of the room, and when closed, the entire kitchen is open (refer to the photo on the website).Rooms 1 and 4 on each floor can accommodate up to 4 people, and rooms 2 and 3 can accommodate 2 people. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave and pot in addition to an induction stove for easy cooking, and there is also a small refrigerator (refrigeration only). The overall interior has a neat, monochromatic look that perfectly matches the title of the pension, “Small Stories,” and most of the lighting fixtures are also treated with indirect lighting to create a subtle indoor atmosphere.Although the bathroom is not spacious, it has both a shower booth, sink, and toilet. However, it was disappointing that there was no bidet (hot water came out well).Soundproofing from the lower and upper floors and the next room is also good. You can see that teeth are missing here and there on the main staircase, which is finished with blocks. It looks like it needs to be repaired, but it seems like it would be a good idea to rebuild the entire staircase with a different finish. There is no shortage of parking, but it cannot cover all the vehicles parked in each room. Parking is available on the road, in front of the pension, next to it, etc., so it is not inconvenient. There is a CU convenience store right in front of the pension, so it is very convenient. My wife said it was the most comfortable of all the accommodations she has ever stayed in (including hotel class).Hajodae Beach is so nice that it is expected to have a lot of customers during the peak season.
