It was a really nice break.Actually, I wasn't expecting much and I was looking for a place to quietly rest in Chuncheon and made a reservation. It was truly Korean, with a tile-roofed house, common space, lawn, and garden that were perfect.I've only experienced open accommodations with well-equipped common spaces like this only overseas, but I was even more impressed because this was my first time seeing such a naturally open accommodation in Korea.Check-in was at 4pm, and it was a little disappointing that they didn't provide a common space even if I went in advance, but I decided to respect it as it is an ironclad rule.Once you arrive, you can park your car in a few spots in front of the accommodation, and if you go through the lawn garden, you will find a peaceful place that looks like a library or an old bookstore. It is full of antiques and piles of old items, making it even more charming.Breakfast is served in this space, and it is a common space where guests can relax. It is an L-shaped building with two buildings side by side. The room connected to the common space is a dormitory, and the building next door has rooms for 2 to 4 people. In the backyard, you can relax comfortably on the lawn and enjoy a barbecue party in the evening.I didn't sign up for the barbecue because I had a schedule, but it was nice to see that it seemed like an opportunity to get to know each other and get to know each other. Surprisingly, it was a place where many foreigners also visited and stayed, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable.I stayed in a double room, and the room wasn't that big, but it had a wide window and plenty of space to put my luggage and sleep on a mattress on the floor. There were plenty of outlets here and there, so I didn't have any trouble using electricity. The bathroom was well-equipped, although a bit disappointing, but if you used the shower instead, water would inevitably splash on the door and toilet, which was inconvenient.Breakfast consists of coffee, bread, and eggs, and most of the time, you have to cook it yourself or make coffee. When the owner has time, he makes coffee himself (the consistency is a bit weak, so it's a shame that you can't enjoy the taste of the coffee). You can enjoy your own mixed coffee at any time, and a microwave oven is also provided. There was also a piano, so I played it for a while, and interior props and antiques that reflect the owner's taste add to the charm of the space. It was a really nice place to just relax.
