In order to fully enjoy Jumunjin Beach, the East Sea, and fresh seafood, we booked and visited Haerang Ocean View Pension as our accommodation for a two-day, one-night trip.I chose the accommodation based on distance first, but what I found out after actually visiting was that the breakwater that was the filming location for the tVN drama 'Goblin' was right in front of the pension. The pension is a 6-story building located right in front of the beach with an ocean view. There is a spacious parking lot at the back, and there is a raw fish restaurant called Haerang on the first floor of the same building, and even a Haerang cafe on the 5th floor. I was assigned two rooms on the 3rd floor, and when I entered both rooms, the room conditions were different, and room 301 was in better condition and spacious. Both rooms had an ocean view, with a view of the Dokkaebi breakwater and the East Sea right in front. There is a veranda, so it's great for enjoying the sea breeze, and it's also very convenient for taking pictures of the sea, sunrise and sunset. If you open the window in your room, you can hear the sound of the waves very close. It was quite cold outside as it was the winter season, but the performance of the ondol boiler was powerful, so I was able to sleep very warmly. The bathroom is shared with a shower room, the water pressure is strong, and the hot water comes out well. There was a microwave and water purifier at the elevator entrance on each floor, making it convenient to heat snacks or snacks purchased from a nearby convenience store. For a pension right in front of the beach, the cost-effectiveness is pretty good, and if it weren't for the Dokkaebi breakwater and the East Sea, I think it would be worth it.
