On the plus side:- There was a very friendly aunt at the reception.- We were evicted ahead of schedule (for the reasons stated below) and they returned our money for the entire remaining period, charging us a small fine, about 60k dong. Other hotels often make harsh decisions in this case. That's where the positives ended.Well, now the cons:- There is a highway outside the window, there is no soundproofing, but... This is Vietnam, so everyone is always honking. Both trucks and mopeds, everything... day and night. Forget about sleep.- Forget about the shops too, the hotel is on a small narrow street, where there’s nothing decent at all, the nearest closet is 2x2 meters away, vaguely reminiscent of a shop, it’s a 10-minute sawing away.- Wifi 30Mb/sec and this is only at the reception. On the floors with numbers you have 1 dirty router per floor and right next to it you have a speed of 0.03 Mb/sec per input. Immediately outside the door to the room, he basically passes out, and the same goes for the whole room.- Photos of the rooms may seem decent, but in reality they are creaking furniture falling apart. There is dust and sediment everywhere, you don’t want to touch anything anymore. I feel like I went to my grandmother’s village, where the furniture is from the times of Stalin.- I don’t know how they managed to call such beds at least comfortable, maybe someone was lucky, but we definitely weren’t. The double bed is actually two small mattresses, they are at least 30 years old, half empty, dented to the point of springs that dig into you everywhere. Besides this, everything is wrapped in oilcloth and rustles. I'm afraid to imagine what's underneath.- There are some super-smart ants and other insects everywhere.- The TV is from the same times as the beds, from smart TV there is only a name.- The sockets are worn out, you insert any device and the plug hangs stupidly, flies out with any blow.- You can smoke everywhere, all the accompanying delights in addition, even if you don’t smoke, there’s a full-fledged smoking room right behind your door, right next to the elevator. You won't pass by.- The shower is separated from the rest of the bathroom by 2 pieces of glass 20cm wide, so after a shower in water you have the entire bathroom, toilet, towels, sink with brushes, in short, everything.- The pipes and faucets are old and rusty.- The air conditioner is noisy and blows directly into the bed. It works very strangely, but somehow cools it down.- If anyone else is thinking of checking in, there is no early check-in. You will wait on sofas for check-in time, where the air conditioning is not turned on, although there is one, there is one fan that blows on the person at the reception desk; clients are not provided with such luxury. You will sit and wait in the stuffiness and heat or stand in the scorching sun.- The transfer from the hotel arrived quickly, but it works according to the meter. I told him the price 3 times, the driver agreed, and in the end he asked for 5k dong more. Apparently he nodded stupidly and agreed with everything, although he doesn’t understand a word of English. For comparison, in other hotels you either pay at the reception or to the driver the price agreed upon when ordering.- Although the aunt at the reception was pleasant, she doesn’t understand a word of English either, she can only communicate through an interpreter.
