Baekgil beach is always stunning and worth a visit. The same cannot be said of the resort, which unfortunately holds a monopoly on this side of the island. The resort takes advantage of this by overcharging guests and offering them the bare minimum level of service. For example, there is not even complimentary water in the room's refrigerator. For that luxury, guests have to navigate the three crowded, chaotic elevators to journey to the basement, where water can be purchased for a marked up fee. The sanitation is also questionable. Several times we encountered a noticeably ill staff member coughing into the air with no regard for the other people in the hallway. (I realize there is a cultural aspect to this but considering Ramada's high standards and the price point, some decency would be appreciated.) The room's toilet/septic system also gave off strong odors that carried into the bedroom. The bed was comfortable, but perhaps not worth the expensive price in light of the half-hearted resort management. Better in my opinion to find a cheap minbak in town and take the bus to and from Baekgil. At least the granny there will give you a free water bottle when she coughs on you.

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED! The general room equipment is rather poor when comparing with other hotels even at way lower price classes. If you plan to take a room for 5 people, 2 will have to sleep on the floor. Might be ok here in South Korea, but I would expect Beds at this price! On top you will pay extra for everything(Sauna, Breakfast, Game Room etc.)! Even bottled water will cost you extra! You will also have to clean and take out trash yourself. Not sure what exactly you pay such an insane price for ...
