Maybe because we arrived at night, or expected something totally different based on the pictures to date, but this place was disappointing. Never mind the simple decor and freeway adjacent location - we would have accepted those as local charm. Given the heat, we weren’t going to hear the freeway through the closed windows anyway. The biggest issue however was the air conditioner right above the bed. We couldn’t figure out how to turn it down, so it was either on or off, with nothing in between. I spent a very hot night turning the thing on and off manually, while hiding under the Korean blanket (which was thankfully stiff, allowing me to breathe while hiding from the cold wind above). We left a day early, even though we had already paid for 2 nights. There was no one to talk to about the issue either 🤷🏻‍♀️😕.
