I visited with adults on a family trip and made a reservation through Agoda, but when I tried to check in on the same day, the reservation was canceled. I contacted the pension to confirm the reservation, but they were unable to contact me, so they said it was canceled to prevent no-shows. I later confirmed that I had been contacted by email. It seems clear that we are at fault for not being able to confirm in time. However, I made many reservations through Agoda or Hotels.com, but there were no problems with the process without this confirmation process, so I couldn't pay attention. However, apart from the email that the pension sent us, I don't know what phone number it was, and it was a strange number, so I don't understand that part. It was not a number registered with Agoda. When the owner said that there were a lot of no-show problems at Agoda, I asked if it would be okay to cancel Agoda's service, but he said that Agoda would not listen to my requests even if I made several requests. It may have been true, but even if that were the case, I think they should have contacted Agoda somehow and taken action. If you try a few times and then say it doesn't work, and leave it like that, the same situation as ours will happen again and again.Fortunately, there were empty rooms, so I was able to stay in two small rooms instead of one large room. I was very fortunate. The room condition was better than expected. It was spacious and had a high ceiling, so it wasn't stuffy and the room was clean. However, the soundproofing is not really good.
