Sublime hotel with large, ultra-comfortable rooms. The outdoor spaces are very beautiful and very well maintained. There are 2 swimming pools, one more isolated than the other. Both pleasant. The food is good and in particular the breakfast offers a very large choice which changes a little every day. Quality spa with a beautiful environment. The team takes great care and whether it is for the airport transfer or the activities, we are treated with 5-star service. When we arrived in the car from the airport, we had fresh towels to refresh ourselves, drinks and snacks on our seats. Highly recommended to spend 3 nights there to fully enjoy it.

We chose the Hotel Le Temple Borobudur due to the appealing architectural design of the resort shown in the pictures and its proximity to the Borobudur Temple.The hotel grounds themselves leave little to be desired. The bungalows are beautifully designed both inside and out. We were particularly pleased with the upgrade we received during our stay. The rooms were clean, and the pool was well-maintained. However, there are significant areas for improvement regarding the staff and the overall service, which are necessary for the resort to reach a 5-star level. Currently, it is far from that standard.The staff speaks very poor English in some cases and is not adequately trained to provide proper service to guests. After dinner, which was quite tasty, the table was often not cleared, and we were not asked if we wanted dessert. We had to get up and ask for the bill ourselves so we could return to our room. The staff's attention was virtually nonexistent, even though the hotel is not yet fully operational. This was very frustrating for us.One particularly unpleasant experience involved service and privacy: drones flew over the entire resort for several hours, including over our private pool while we were swimming. After calling the reception and expressing our concern, we were assured that this would stop. However, less than 30 minutes later, the drone was flying over our pool again. This is a clear violation of privacy and shows that guest requests were simply ignored.Another point of criticism is the overpriced airport transfer from Yogyakarta Airport to the hotel, which costs around 900,000 IDR—three times the price of a Bluebird taxi. This is outright extortion.Additionally, there are no milk alternatives such as oat milk or almond milk, which should be standard in a hotel of this category.Unless these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this resort.

A little piece of paradise nestled among the rice fields near Borobudur Temple. We stayed for three nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The spa experience was exceptional, and the restaurant offered delicious food with both Western and Indonesian options—the red snapper was particularly outstanding. The hotel's proximity to Borobudur Temple allowed us to walk there easily, which was a huge plus.The villas are architecturally stunning and incredibly spacious. We loved having our own private jacuzzi, and the decor of the villa was beautifully designed. The service throughout our stay was exceptionally attentive—they truly thought of everything. Special thanks to Hendi and Risma for their outstanding service at the restaurant. We enjoyed strolling around the hotel grounds and appreciated the peaceful surroundings. The breakfast was generous with a great variety of options. Highly recommended!

Even though the location is a bit inside, cars can be parked in front of the hotel. The welcome to guests is very warmMakes us flattered....Here we just eat.The food is delicious, the spices are great... the place is also clean. After eating, we toured the rooms.... Here the rooms are separated, surrounded by a small pool which makes for a cool and romantic atmosphere. Anyway, you should try coming to this hotel. Guaranteed to feel at home and happy.
