Old hotel not far from the road to the airport. The rooms are in need of renovation. Very high humidity. The road to the hotel is on a very bad road - everything is full of potholes. In the morning the roosters crow. The staff is friendly as always.

Several years ago I stayed here with friends, so there were 4 of us. When we were wandering around the Nusa Dua area, we met this guest house. When I got there I wanted to book online, but the boss told me to book manually and give a rate of 350 thousand/night. And I asked if 1 room could accommodate 4 people because we just wanted to stay in 1 room. Sir, you can't do it. I asked again, did you use an extra bed, sir? And how much is the charge? The answer is, yes you can. 1 EB for 2 people. But let's wait a moment for the price, I'll ask first. (I didn't know who he wanted to ask, even though he was the owner) I said, sorry, can you just ask now sir, so I can pay for everything straight away. But the father said just a moment, I'll ask first.OK, never mind.Let's ask again, can you cook too? The father's answer was oh yes, this khitchen is indeed provided for guests.OK.And I will confirm again that there are additional costs or other costs for the kitchen, etc. The father said there wasn't any. In the afternoon we did some small shopping to cook our food, and we also shared food and cakes with the employees there. We cook as neatly and cleanly as possible. After nightfall I asked again for the price for the extra bed, because most of the fathers weren't there and they arrived late at night. So how much is the charge? Even that sir answered 150 thousand/person, so for 2 people it was 300 thousand. I answered, oh, if that's the case, just open 1 room, sir, because just add 50 thousand to get 1 room. It's okay if we split up. And the father answered, the room was full. (In fact, almost all day until evening we just sat by the pool, and there were very few guests. And you could see that many of the rooms were still empty).OK, never mind. But the father answered again, but the calculation was per person, not using EB. (So 150 thousand is just a charger per person and don't use EB because there aren't any anymore).Well, at the start it said there was. OK, I'll pay.Because we were already sleepy, we finally said yes. And finally the 4 of us slept on one bed, and the AC turned out to be hot (it only felt right when we were going to sleep at night, because we were out of the room all day). Really can't sleep. The room is very hot. And the toilet flush is problematic. Finally tomorrow arrived, we just checked out what we had planned to do there for 2 nights. When I wanted CO, there were only the ladies in front and the father came out for a moment, he said. Let's just hand over the keys, and I said, please check the room first, ma'am. The mother answered, it's okay with the room. But wait, sir.We ask, why are you waiting for the father, ma'am? We have paid everything in full. And the mother said, the father said the gas money had not been paid.WHATTT?? We only cook it for a few minutes and at the beginning the father said that the kitchen is free for guests. We're shocked. Finally the father arrived and he said he would charge 100 thousand for the gas but I just gave him a discount of 50 thousand.Ha??😄That's it, I don't want to debate and I don't want to waste my energy early in the morning, so I just pay, and we leave. But it's very, very unfortunate. There are so many things that make us never return to this place again. Don't take it lightly by just missing one guest🙂And one more thing, from the start we came for the service as it seemed friendlier to foreign tourists than to local tourists. That's all and thank you sir🙏🙂

I liked the hotel, clean rooms, friendly owners, clean large pool. A taxi from here to the airport costs 150k, and from Uluwatu 200k, as I understand the taxi driver is a family friend. For two days the room was not cleaned, but we did not ask, there were no toothbrushes. The air conditioner is noisy, you can’t leave it on at night. I advise you not to count on breakfast, it’s just an omelette on water with a piece of bread, plus coffee. The location is something special, getting there on foot is not an option at all, only a taxi or a bike. But nearby, within 10 minutes by bike, there is a nice clean beach with sun loungers "Mengiat Beach". You can rent a bike, the hotel owners have a friend who rents them out, don’t forget to bargain with her. I rented PCX for 150k per day. We had two more rooms occupied in the hotel, and there are 20 of them.

Lovely 7 day stay at Avisara Villas 8th January 2024. Wayan and his wife offer a really clean chilled out guest house with good Aircon, fridge and TV in the bedroom with a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Everything in the place is well maintained and kept very clean including the pool. It’s a budget stay so no coffee tea etc and you will need a car or scooter as it’s nestled in a quiet residential area about 8 minute drive from Nusa Dua. If you are looking for a great place to stay while you go to explore this part of Bali it is ideal and in low season we paid £17 per night for our room, so excellent value.
