A friend introduced me to a recommended guesthouse in Yomitan, so I stayed there for one night.Location: Zakimi, Yomitan Village, Nakagami District, Okinawa PrefectureRooms are dormitory onlyThe area around the guesthouse was a quiet residential area with a calm atmosphere.A whopping 2,500 yen per night. What's more, breakfast is included! The owner's homemade pancakes are incredibly delicious!I thought it would be an outrageous room since it was 2500 yen...The cleanliness is by far one of the highest among many guesthouses! The beds in the dormitory are soft and the common spaces are very clean.Even if you don't like guesthouses, you can stay at Ryukyuan! I think there are many people! What's more, this is not an ordinary guest house, but a music hostel, and there are drums, guitars, and sanshin in the common space, so music lovers will love it!I didn't play this time, but I'll try to have a session with the owner next time I stay!

Staff are super welcoming and helpful. I got driven to the bus stop multiple times and Ryota even drove me to the pharmacy when I was unwell. The culture of this hostel is fantastic, most of the guests and staff want to chat and play music together. There's a cool rooftop to hang out on and bbq area. The location is peaceful and beautiful, not far from the ocean and they offer bikes to use for free. I'll definitely be back!If you are in the area, you should definitely stay here!

We were picked up and dropped off at the bus stop, there was free rental of bicycles and snorkeling equipment, there was a washer/dryer free of charge, and in the evening we were treated to awamori from long-term guests, and breakfast was included, making it a great value for money! I want to come again ☆

This seems to be a gathering place for local people. The sound of index music comes and goes. The room located underground is almost completely unsoundproof. This should be the purpose of providing earplugs, right? But it has no effect.

The mattress in the dormitory was comfortable. This was a great service for 2500 yen per night. The hot sandwich for breakfast is included in the accommodation fee, and it was very delicious. There are plenty of small amenities, and playing musical instruments with the owner was a great memory.

The main customers are diving tourists and foreigners from Booking.com. As a fan of Okinawan music, I was intrigued by the music environment I saw in the photos, so I stayed for four nights to try it out.Highly recommended for music lovers. It is rare to find an inn that is fully stocked with sanshin instruments, as well as guitars (acoustic, electric, and bass), electronic pianos, drum sets, and various percussion instruments that you can use freely. I don't dive, but I really enjoyed the music session. In that sense, it was as expected.I also appreciated the free breakfast and free washer/dryer. Considering that guesthouses with low accommodation rates don't provide meals and cost 400 to 500 yen for a coin-operated washer/dryer, the price of around 2,500 yen on Booking.com is reasonable. The owner is also kind and friendly. They play various instruments together.I thought the cleanliness was good for a guest house. The difficulties are transportation and shopping. There are no shops within walking distance (there are MaxValue, Kanehide, convenience stores, and restaurants within a 5-minute drive), and there are many attractive sightseeing spots in the area, but to get around efficiently, you'll need a rental car. However, overall I think it is a highly recommended accommodation.
