The resort is smaller than most beach resorts in Ishigaki, but it was really fun to stay here.We booked 3 nights here in the superior room. The room size is medium but there were some issues. The exterior walls had some black grime on it and the bathroom inside was a little smelly (on the second day it was gone) and the bed lamp was flickering a little. However these issues are very small.The restaurant is paid for dinner and lunch but they serve excellent quality food, definitely not the best tasting but it was still really delicious.Since the beach is quite far from the rooms they operate a free shuttle bus that runs at specific times. However, guests over 12 can ride an electric scooter to the beach.

Compared to the other two Risonare hotels we've stayed at, this one is the smallest and with very minimal facilities and activity offerings. This site has two swimming pools, one by the reception and the other by the beach, but that's basically it for anything we can do with our 3yo daughter... The other sites (Atami & Yatsugatake) had property space big enough to accommodate kids better.And don't get your expectations high as I'm unsure if their prices match the experience here on this island. Other properties, yes, ok, understandable... This one, with ants, spiders, geckos, and other friends from nature, not sure if the cost is worth it.

I used it last year.We took a ferry from Ishigaki Island, and there was a shuttle bus to the hotel.We also didn't have much time, so it was fun to watch the wild animals while the guide gave explanations to the hotel.The room was clean, but there were bugs floating in the pool so I didn't feel like going in.The food was buffet style and was almost the same on the first and second day, so I got tired of it without seeing anything new.Since the activity is an external service, it may be wrong to review it here, but jet boat? The instructor had a bad attitude and told me things like ``I don't have a sense of balance'' and ``I'm not good at it'', which made me feel really bad.Everyone else in the activities other than this one was kind and fun. Snorkeling is also great, so I highly recommend it.

RISONARE Kohamajima✅Cash and credit card payments accepted (touch not possible)A resort hotel with the largest area on Kohama Island. All rooms are suites, so there were few guests, so we were able to spend a quiet time.All of the hotel staff were kind and pleasant.Life jackets, marine shoes, floats, goggles, etc. can be rented out free of charge by the pool and on the beach, so you can enjoy swimming without the need for any luggage or swimsuits.As for activities, if you make a reservation by 5pm the day before, the locals will tell you about various activities and you can have a good experience.The hair dryer in the room was a small Panasonic hair dryer like the ones in business hotels, but even though the hotel is mainly used for beach activities, it didn't dry my hair at all. I would be happy if it had at least a little more airflow. Women are encouraged to bring their own from home.Additionally, reservations are required for meals, and there are only cup ramen available at the shops, and there are no convenience stores on the island, so there is a possibility that you will become a food refugee. Whether you're eating at a hotel or at a restaurant on the island, reservations and preparations for lunch and dinner are a must.

It was the best trip of my life. If you check in early, you can leave your luggage in your room and enjoy some meaningful time on Kohama Island by renting a bicycle, enjoying the beach, and drinking alcohol. The customer service from each staff member is polite and pleasant. At night, you can see the starry sky and have fun all day long. There is also a shuttle bus from the port, so you can head to your hotel with peace of mind.

The room, service, customer service, and activities were all great! !It was a very happy stay as I was able to fully enjoy the romantic atmosphere of the sunrise sea lounge, the happy feeling of drinking at the sea beer garden, and the sauna! ! !It was so much fun to use the electric kickboard to get around the facility!Kohamajima itself doesn't have much to do and you can relax, but RISONARE Kohamajima has a lot of activities, so you can enjoy it even just inside the facility!The price is a little high, but it's great for a reward trip!

This is the worst Okinawa experience ever.When I got out of the pool and went to take a shower in my room, I looked at the shower and it was a cold shower. Since I was already naked, I took a cold shower to wash my hair and body. Even if I told the front desk about it, they seemed to be wondering if that was the case, so they came to turn the water heater back on. After that, I was told that hot water was available, and I hurried home.I don't really apologize at that time either.When I tried to take a shower the next morning, it was a cold shower again. When I called the front desk, they said yes, so I asked them to move me to a room.I was told that I could move to a room of the same rank, and was asked if I could move in about 15 minutes, and I said that was impossible. I had a reservation for breakfast at 8 a.m., so I asked if I could move during that time, and was asked if I would like to move my luggage after that.I thought it meant I had to carry it myself.When I asked them to move during breakfast, they did.Then I moved, went into the pool and ocean again, and took a shower.There was a razor that the previous customer had used. I feel really bad.When I called the front desk about this, they quickly came to pick it up, told the cleaning staff that something like this shouldn't happen, and left. So far, we have nothing to apologize for or apologize for. In the end, the check-out went smoothly, and there was no coordination during the check-out, so I just left without an apology.After that, when I complained, they said they would send me a souvenir from Ishigaki Island and some juice as an apology, but they said they would not accept such things, and when I said that was fine, they did not contact me for several days.When I was later contacted, I was told that the service could not be provided and that I would be refunded 10% of the service fee.I wasn't completely convinced, but since it was already too much of a hassle, I said that's fine, and he said he would contact me as soon as the hospitalization date was confirmed.Even though I could have sent it the same day, at this hour, through internet banking, I'm extremely distrustful of Hoshino, who doesn't even do that.I think everything that they did backfired and it was a hotel that really lacked hospitality. Risonare is just a cross-legged version of the star brand.The driver who drove us for the Harvest Festival was really nice to the person in charge of the complaint. Even though I said I was grateful to that person, I just ignored the words. I think it's a disappointing facility, including those aspects. I will never stay there again.

I stayed there at my wife's request for our honeymoon.Although it was a quiet time, I think we were able to make some very good memories by taking photos on the beach and looking at the starry sky over Kohama Island.I don't know because I ate at an outside restaurant for dinner.I also didn't use any of the activities, just rented a car and went on an adventure around the island.We used OoliOoli for breakfast. The brown sugar syrup French toast was very delicious.After checking out, my wife called me to let me know that she had forgotten something, and I was very grateful that she brought it to the boat pier in a hurry.I am very grateful to all the staff who treated me with a smile and kindness from the beginning to the end.Also, next time I would like to visit during the warm season when I can enjoy the sea.

I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and the food was almost the same every day as it was a buffet, so I would appreciate it if you could change it every day. I was informed in advance that I needed to make a reservation for breakfast, but I also needed dinner, so I made a reservation at check-in. Therefore, I couldn't get it at the time I wanted. I would like you to emphasize that reservations are required in the morning and evening. Our room was a cottage so we could take a walk while looking at the garden, and it was great to see wild green pigeons, peacocks, and beautiful butterflies. The pool and sea were wonderful.

This is my second time to Kohama Island, and last time I stayed at Haimurubushi. I had high expectations for this Risonare as it had good reviews, but there were some pretty disappointing things, so I'll leave a review.The rooms and service weren't that bad, but I couldn't resist the food, so I stayed for 7 days but moved on after 2 days. First of all, you won't be able to eat unless you make reservations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Although breakfast is included, you cannot eat it unless you make a reservation. To make matters worse, I was unable to make reservations for dinner and became a food refugee. I think it might have been because it was high season, but all the restaurants nearby were fully booked, and it was hard to even get a call. There is no room service or snack shop in the facility, so it's quite difficult for families with children, and you can't really relax and lose track of time. I'm always worried about what to eat today, tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow. The hotel staff only said ``goodbye,'' so I gave up and moved to another hotel. There is only one restaurant within the facility.After that, it was a type of tumbler that you can put water in and keep it cold in the refrigerator, but even after cleaning, it was still there without being refilled, so I wondered if they would refill it. When I checked, I was told that I would like to refill it myself, either from the tap water in the bathroom or from the water server at the spa. Is this normal since there are no shops or convenience stores nearby?I have been to various places in Okinawa dozens of times every year, but this was the first time I had felt so inconvenienced.Although the facility is a bit old, it is well built, and the scenery, the sea, and the starry sky at night were very beautiful and moving.

I've been coming every year since before it became Hoshino, but it's gotten worse little by little since it became Hoshino.There were so many disappointing things this time that I decided to stop coming.We would like to introduce some of them.1. Reservations are required for lunch, so if you fail to order, there are no options at the resort and you have to go to the ferry terminal.Looking at the pass timetable, there aren't that many and you have to wait a long time, so you can only eat the cup ramen sold at the front desk.2.The number of breakfast items has decreased considerably. Also, the taste is not good enough.3.When the water provided in the room runs out, I have to go to the front desk to get it myself, but some of the staff members replenish it when they clean the room, so I wondered if they could do it for me, so I asked the front desk. The answer is that it depends on the staff.4. There are no amenities provided in the room, so you have to get the necessary items like toothbrushes at the front desk, but the quality is as low as that of a cheap business hotel.Because of the above, I am thinking of not coming next year.The only good thing about it was that it made me smile to see the staff working so hard, and they were the only ones that made me feel soothed.It's obviously the company's policy, but I don't want to distort the low quality, which is far from a first-class hotel.

A hotel where you can feel like you're at a resort. The grounds are quite large and it's fun to get around by bus or kickboard. Full of facilities such as pool and beach. Wifi is also connected easily.Unfortunately, there is no convenience store-like shop, and even in the summer, everything is closed at 6pm. I want to use it until around 8pm because it's bright.The food is delicious, but the food is basically the same every day, so it's a bit difficult to stay multiple nights. I would like to see some ingenuity, such as switching between even and odd days.I felt that the service level was not commensurate with the price. It's not bad by any means, but I'd like to see it go one step further. Even smart business hotels are not doing things like improving amenities and offering free drinks. I felt like it could be much better with just a few more tweaks. It's a shame.Overall I'm satisfied, but my impression may change if the weather is bad.

I stay in room 101 every year.I've stayed in other rooms, but to be honest, if you're staying in rooms other than rooms 101 and 102, you probably shouldn't have high expectations, but these two rooms are exceptionally good!The hospitality is outstanding, with a homely feel, attentiveness, attentiveness, and of course, smiles and hospitality. A homely version of a 5-star hotel in Tokyo.There were so many activities that it was easy to stay as a family. However, since it's a remote island and there's nothing to do, I feel like 3 nights is enough.

I stayed there for my honeymoon in July 2023.The female staff member who answered the questions did her best to explain the situation, and we both smiled.It was like a pre-preparation questionnaire, but when I filled it out, I unexpectedly received a surprise gift at the dinner venue.My wife was also really happy with the hospitality.The private beach is also great.The room is also great.The pool is also great!It was a trip that I will never forget and did my best.The only regret I had was that a typhoon was approaching and I couldn't drink alcohol on the private beach.
