It was my first trip to Miyakojima. I stayed here for 2 nights out of a 3 night itinerary using Marriott Bonvoy points. Unfortunately, due to the September holidays, there was no room upgrade available as a member. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a high level of service. Leave all your luggage and car to us. As soon as we entered the hotel, the infinity pool leading out to the ocean was a sight to behold. Although the hotel is small, the lobby was very nice and luxurious. After receiving the check-in information and being guided to the room, we were given detailed information about the facilities in the room. The view from the room is perfect!I didn't have dinner here, but for breakfast, I could choose between Japanese or Western main dishes, and the menu changed daily. All other salads, side dishes, breads, and fruits were served in a buffet style so that you wouldn't get bored even if you stayed for several nights. By the way, I had both Japanese and Western food, and both were really delicious. Similarly, children could choose between Japanese or Western food. This time, I received free breakfast as a benefit of Marriott Bonvoy, and was able to enjoy a very luxurious breakfast, which I was very satisfied with. We also enjoyed the free flow champagne service in the evening while enjoying the beautiful scenery. In addition, as a Marriott Platinum member, I was very grateful that the drinks in the refrigerator were unlimited. However, on the morning of the second day, I had a slight problem in my room and called the front desk. Although the issue was immediately resolved, another problem was discovered, which made me feel very uncomfortable. We chose this hotel for our wedding anniversary, and although we were really looking forward to it, we didn't want to spend another night in this room, so we went to the front desk and informed the person in charge. I told them that I would like to change rooms if possible. The person in charge apologized politely and told me that he would check the availability of the room. We went straight to the beach and when we came back, the person in charge apologized again and asked us to let us know as soon as our luggage was ready so we could change rooms, so we went back to the room. I gathered my things and headed to the front desk. Then, the person in charge gave me a key card for a new room. I was told that all my luggage would be moved between rooms, so I went straight to my new room and found that it was an incredibly nice room. I think it was probably a corner junior suite room. The room was large enough to fit a family of three, and since it was a corner room, you could see the ocean from all the windows, and it was a wonderful room where you could enjoy the luxurious view from the bed. I was moved and was exploring the room when the chime rang. When I opened the door, the person in charge came over to apologize again. He told me it was our wedding anniversary, so he brought me an anniversary dessert plate. I gave it to you. No matter how many troubles we had, I honestly never expected you to go this far, so I was very impressed. The dessert was also very delicious. Thanks to the hotel staff's polite apologies and consideration, all of the things I didn't like were blown away and it became a truly satisfying trip with wonderful memories.I can't thank you enough. There is also a beach called Toguchi no Hama nearby, which is a very beautiful beach and only a few minutes away by car. However, the convenience store is far away, so if you need anything, we recommend purchasing it somewhere before checking in!Also, if you are traveling to Miyakojima for the first time, I assure you that the weather forecast is almost unreliable! We had been on Miyakojima for 3 nights and 4 days, and the forecast had been for cloudy and rainy days even before the trip. Even before I went, I wasn't excited and was worried about what would happen to the sea and pool, but I was disappointed in a good way, and although there were a few squalls of rain, I was really happy that it was mostly sunny. is! I was able to see the Miyako blue sea. So if you are disappointed with the rain forecast, please don't give up! Even when I was there, it was sunny even though the forecast was for rain! lolI learned that the weather forecast on Miyakojima is even more unreliable, as is the case with the main island of Okinawa! It was truly a wonderful memory! If I ever come to Miyakojima again, this is the hotel I would definitely stay at! I really recommend it! Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality and service!
