San-A and Max Value are right in front of you, making it convenient for shopping. As of September 2024, the convenience store is under construction near FamilyMart. The problem is that the quality of the free Wi-Fi is poor. I'm getting a duplicate IP error, probably due to poor DHCP settings, and although I can connect, there's a lot of "waiting" for communication beyond the router, which is frustrating. If you plan on staying for a long time and getting work done, it's better to use the Wi-Fi on the Mac in front of you or prepare a separate communication line.In addition to the bus stop that stops right in front of the hotel every 30 minutes, there are car rental offices nearby as well, as it is close to the former Ishigaki Airport, so you won't have to worry about getting around, so if you don't go to remote islands often, don't bother. I felt it was a good idea to avoid hotels near expensive remote island terminals.

I am a regular user of hotels in the Resorts Ryukyu group, but I stayed at other sister hotels on Ishigaki Island. That one is good, but considering the CO/SPA, this one was the best. First of all, the location is excellent. I also appreciate the free parking. San-A, which sells local beef and Agu pork, is right in front of us, and it's nice that it has a kitchen. I ate Agu pork in the morning at a reasonable price. (lol)We stayed for three nights this time, but for long-term stays, the house is cleaned once every three nights, and the towels are changed every day. It's nice that there is a washing machine on the balcony. We don't have detergent, so bring your own. (It's in the basement, but it seems like it's for business use at a hotel.) The kitchen has cups, pots, frying pans, a microwave, etc. in the room, and you can also rent rice cookers, plates, chopsticks, spoons, etc. for convenience. There are no seasonings so you need to bring your own. Maybe you can buy it at San-A. Pajamas available. By the way, Firetv was installed on the TV. The only drawback is that it is unmanned so you cannot store your luggage. Also, if you buy over 1,000 yen at the San-A store in front of you, they will give you a ticket to ride the shuttle bus to the remote island pier. I used this conveniently❗

The facilities are not bad for the price, but…As soon as I entered room 305, which was assigned to me, even though the ventilation fan was turned on... it was very stuffy and had a strange smell, so I requested a room change and changed to room 302... but it was the same... After 2-3 hours, the smell was so bad that it gave me a headache. When I talked about changing rooms, they said it would be possible in the morning. In the end, I couldn't sleep... so we moved to a hotel the next day.

Beware, the office is not staffed, so you can't drop off luggage anywhere and come back for the strict 3pm check in time. There isn't anywhere to leave luggage, until you get your room. The hotel doesn't look fab from outside, but the rooms are fab. Check in is automated and the office opens remotely at 3pm.

The location is good, but there was a lot of mold in the room, and the smell near the entrance smelled like a public toilet. It's not suitable for people who are germophotic or like to be clean...
