I stayed there in June, but I noticed that I hadn't written a review. It was a good hotel with very good hospitality as it is a resort area.

Very disappointing for couples without children. Bar is almost always closed. Food is standard, both buffet and a la carte. We ordered 2 advertised vegan dishes a la carte, one was served with bonito flakes and the other with cheese.Beach loungers are not included and must be paid additionally. Swimming on the hotel's own beach is only allowed between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. When snorkeling, everyone without exception has to wear a life jacket out of consideration for the children. Most of the staff cannot speak English, which makes communication very difficult. There are no bars or other “escape options” around the hotel. So you have to organize a taxi for everything. The rooms themselves are clean and service would also be great if there wasn't a language barrier. It might be nice for families with children, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

The staff barely knows English. When ordering food, say explicitly if you don't want something. Just because it says vegan or vegetarian you still get cheese or bonito flakes with it!!!

A must-go if you are a Marriott member. Service location was great. There are lots of tropical fish in the lobby and you can feed them, which makes the kids very happy. There's also a kids room so you won't get bored. Very good for families with children. There is also a beach, pool, and public bath where you can relax. The zipline can only be experienced when the weather is good. There are plenty of beach activities, and Marriott members are highly satisfied with the many discounts and free services available. Surrounding restaurants are also conveniently located within walking distance.

The Sunmarina Hotel, formerly a JAL-affiliated hotel, seems to have become a Sheraton-affiliated hotel, and there are plenty of member benefits such as lounge services and activities.Breakfast is also typical of Sheraton and offers a variety of ingredients. However, even though the dinner is full of meat dishes, the breakfast feels like they have left out the meat dishes from the dinner. It is crowded with families, Japanese people with children, and visitors to Japan. Guests can use the beach umbrellas and beds in front of the lagoon for free, and the indoor pool is heated and has a Jacuzzi. This time I chose a room with a staircase in the penthouse, but it basically felt small, like an eel's bed. The door to the toilet, sink, and bath right after entering the entrance is so large that if even one person goes inside, the door won't open, and the middle staircase has a scary gap even though this room is marketed as a place for families with children. I thought.Parking is not an option and I am happy to be able to come and go freely.
