Used for motorcycle touring from Tokyo. I was intrigued by the price of 3,500 yen, but when I heard that it was a repurposed old motel, I was convinced. The facility is old, but it was comfortable. Bikes are parked next to it, and the environment is quiet. For shopping, there is a convenience store in the city that is about a 10 minute bike ride away. I was a little concerned about the unique smell, but other than that I have no complaints considering the price.

Do not book this hotel if you are using public transportation. There is no bus/cabs/ train facility to reach this location. They also have strict cancellation policy and you will end up loosing all money. They do not mention this info on any booking site. I tried with Agoda but they refuse to update this details on their page, hence its a trap for all such travellers who relies on public transportation.

Takatsuki City Bus JR Takatsuki Station North → Bound for SugiuIt was a 20 minute walk from the final stop, Sugiu.It was a villa-like building, and the air was clean in the mountains.There was a wild deer🦌I used it alone.

A few years ago, I used this hotel on a business trip. I remembered...The price was cheap even with breakfast included.However, it doesn't matter how old the room is, there are always stink bugs crawling around in the room. Even if I go to sleep thinking I have exterminated them all, they immediately start flying around the room again, making me uncomfortable.I didn't really want to use insecticides because they seemed harmful to the body. It smells when crushed, and when the stink bugs stopped, I wrapped them one by one in tissue.I think the room looks like a log house and is hidden between trees. No matter how many you kill, there's no end to it. I lost a lot of sleep because I was fighting stink bugs all night.The breakfast was delicious.

Former love hotel.Currently, the building is rented out.I happened to find it while looking for a cottage in Kyoto. The concept seemed interesting, so I went.We were able to have a BBQ right in front of us, and there were hardly any customers, so it was reserved for private use.I'm very satisfied. I will use it again.

Very cheap stay with free parking. But there is no toothpaste 😅 only toothbrush. They provide 2 bottle of water and coffee . The place is in the mountains so bring your food with you. There is microwave and small fridge in the room
