I stayed in 4 different Osaka hostels in 7 days, and considering that i only paid about $10 a night for this one it was very good. Did all the basics fine, decent bed, decent shower etc. Also had good kitchen and communal area.Issues included that none of the toilet bidets worked, the aircon unit was very badly positioned and was actually inside one of the bunk beds meaning that one person would get all the cold air and everyone else would get very little. The front door was also never locked which was actually kind of convenient but would certainly bother some people.

The absolute best place for price and cheeriness ! Cheap and cheery at its best. Right in the center, and with so many kind and helpful people, each time I come I leave with new friends and new stories !

This hostel is really terrible. I canceled my reservation due to concerns about the new coronavirus infection and the Nankai earthquake warning, but I was told that even if I canceled at any time, even if it was due to force majeure, I would not receive a refund. However, when I asked, ``So, can other guests use my bed?'', they said that they didn't know if other guests would come, but that they could use it after another reservation was made. I really don't understand paying for two people in the same bed. When I told them that other hotels could cancel due to force majeure, they said, ``That's the rule at our hotel.'' What's more, he hung up on me while I was trying to make my point, which is a terrible attitude. What's more, even though I submitted a cancellation request several days ago, they kept ignoring me and didn't reply. I also sent an email, but it was ignored. Furthermore, it wasn't just me, but the person on the reservation app also contacted the hostel staff many times, but received the same strong and unreasonable response. I will never come again. The worst❗️

Very nice hostel with all the facilities. The location is really good because it's in a quiet alley but close to the metro station. Walking distance from the Osaka tower, there are shops and laundry nearby. The shared kitchen and toilets/shower were clean and our room was spacious and comfy.

This is a guesthouse that is a remodeled private house, or rather, it hasn't been remodeled much at all.It doesn't look fancy. The location may be a little difficult to find. It's a very narrow and crowded street. There is a kitchen and living room on the first floor, and foreigners are making noise every night. It will be very good in terms of international exchange. This may be a problem for people who want to sleep quietly. The room wasn't small, but the tatami mats were moldy. Well, it's a cheap hotel on the lowest floor, so it's probably something like this. The English spelling on the poster is questionable, but it's charming. It seems that there are some foreigners staying for a long time. Not suitable for people who seek cleanliness. For people who don't mind a cluttered look, it might be a good, inexpensive choice.Bed sheets were washed. The structure of the room is a mess and you can't go to the laundry without going through the toilet. This is an inn where people who can tolerate the nonsense of wondering what the person doing the laundry will do if someone goes into the bathroom.I think the tatami should definitely be replaced.
