I stayed in a dormitory type room.Everything seemed dark. The toilet at night is dimly lit and scary with insects...The room itself was clean.

I would like to write about it starting from check-in on the day.First, check in at ``Munbuteras'' in front of the airport and receive your key and amenity goods. There is a welcome drink (alcoholic too!). The attached cafe is only open for take-out when the weather is bad, but the morning meal (1,000 yen) I had the next day was very satisfying. I made a reservation by phone in advance. This time I will be staying at ``Munbu Stay Konno'' in Sonai. I always travel by bicycle, so I don't care about the location of my accommodation. Even though it's far from the airport, it's still within walking distance of shops and Sakimoto Sake Brewery (it's a bit of a walk, but I tried my best to sample it), so I think it's in a convenient location.I often use the dormitory (shared room) at the guest house, so I was able to stay in a private room (room 201) comfortably. Facilities include Wi-Fi, a well-functioning air conditioner, and enough towels (large and small) for the number of nights you stay. There is a desk and chair, but it would have been nice to have a table lamp. There is only one light in the room and it is operated by a switch at the entrance, so I think it would be convenient if there was another switch next to the bed. The middle room in room 201 has no windows. The outlet next to the bed is located high up on the wall, so it would be helpful to have an extension cord.Due to the effects of the typhoon, the common space had tables, drying racks, and poles that are normally kept outside. There is an IH stove (it didn't turn on). There are no cooking utensils including knives. There is a shared refrigerator, microwave, 2 electric kettles, washing machine (with liquid detergent) and dryer (air drying available). The toilet has a washlet. This makes me very happy. I basically avoid accommodations that don't have one. I'm concerned about the ventilation in the shower room, but the hot water and water pressure are great. Shampoos and skin care products are also available. There is also a bath mat and a changing basket. Cleanliness is thorough, including the water area. The only thing that worries me is the insects. You can leave the key in the room when checking out. This time I had booked a different accommodation, but I was told in advance that the accommodation might be closed due to an approaching typhoon, which actually happened. I was able to stay at Munbu Stay because there was a last minute cancellation and a space became available. It was really helpful.Although the weather was unstable during my stay, I was able to go around the island and was very satisfied. Next time, I would like to come in a cooler season!

It's a little far from the airport, but if you have a rental car or a motorcycle, it's not an inconvenience at all! All the staff were so kind and I had high expectations!

I had to stay for a week due to the typhoon, but I would like to thank you for your kind and courteous support during that time. All the staff were friendly and easy to talk to, and they taught me a lot about the island, fish, etc. The accommodation is a dormitory type, which is completely different from an inn or a hotel, but it was clean and well-equipped with towels and other amenities, and was well-cleaned. There was a washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, and kettle in the common space, which you could use for free. I was grateful during the typhoon period. At night, I went by car to look for coconut crabs, and was able to have an experience that I can't do on Honshu. Next time I come to Yonaguni Island, I would like to stay here again.

I stayed there for a week during a typhoon. First of all, all the staff were polite. They flexibly accommodated our wishes, and despite the unfortunate weather, we had a great time.I stayed in 201 and 203. Both the communal showers and toilets are kept clean.Room 201 is dark. Room 203 had a shower and was comfortable. The location was perfect, within walking distance from the village.I'm glad you came. thank you.
