A 2-minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station, "HIPPO Hostel & Cafe Bar" is located in a quiet residential area of Koreatown, creating an exotic atmosphere that sets it apart from Koreatown.The second floor operates as a guest house, HIPPO Hostel, and the first floor is a cafe bar.The interior is bathed in sunlight and has a stylish, high-class interior with a brocante and vintage feel.The concept is hippopotamus, and hippopotamus figures are displayed everywhere.This time I decided to enjoy the recommended menu.The raw gateau chocolate decorated with powdered sugar has a rich and bitter taste.The cheesecake is moist and rich. Not too soft and has a refreshing aftertaste.The pudding is a pure cafe pudding that is a little hard, and you can enjoy the marriage of the bittersweet caramel sauce and whipped cream.The lemonade looks cool with lemon slices. And the staff are all foreigners, and the customer service is super friendly!However, the interior of the restaurant has a tranquil atmosphere, allowing you to let the time go by slowly and enjoy a good night's sleep.

This cafe is amazing food and nice taste but cafe overall atmosphere is very low standard and I all it’s normal restaurant I if we talk about food then is ok and very tasty food but gathering is not good at all but I recommended to visit at least 1 time

I found it as a cafe and used it as a hotel, but even though I made a mistake when making the reservation, I was very satisfied with the prompt and courteous service, and the clean facilities.This is a recommended place.Next time I would like to use it as a cafe as well.---I discovered this place as a café but used it as a hotel. Despite a mistake with my reservation, the staff responded quickly and courteously. The facilities were clean, and I was very satisfied. Used only at cafeI realized this after enteringIt's a cafe in Tsuruhashi, but it has a different and exotic feeling...A cafe with a stylish counterSeriously, if you speak order JapaneseI don't understand Japanese very well.The 1st floor of a hostel for foreignersIt looks like it's turning into a cafe.The clerks and people sitting at the counterPeople who are not from Japan, Korea, or other Asian countriesI'm sorry for getting lost in the middle of the dayI also like coffee and cakeDelicious with your favorite flavorEasy to eat, I would like to come againThe price is for a drink and a cake separately.It's called a Japanese-style cake set.no conceptIt was a nice cafe with great taste and atmosphere.

This is a review for the cafe. The person behind the counter seemed surprised when I walked in, seemed surprised when I ordered a latte to go (even though the door says "take out ok". Then gave it to me in a plastic cup more suited for an iced beverage, so it was hot to carry. The coffee itself, not great. Oh well, had to give it a try.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the hostel itself wouldn't actually be bad if the employees took care of the cleanliness and also adhered to the rest times or enforced them.The employees go to work with a no-nonsense attitude that I have rarely seen. Guests will be atCheck in is made to wait because a private conversation is more important, wet sheets are given to the guests, the towels in the toilets and at the sink have not been replaced once in 4 days and the employees sing, talk on the phone and listen to music loudly even after the rest period even in the room. If you are not friends with one of the employees I would not recommend the hostel to you.

I visited on a weekday at 17:30♪I get excited just by entering the very stylish store↑↑The store clerk is from overseas and is not good at English, so I was nervous when ordering ☆☆Raw gateau chocolateThe rich gateau chocolate has a sweetness to it, but the fresh cream suppresses the sweetness, so it's just perfect to eat with it! !It's moist and filling, and the chocolate spread in your mouth makes you happy (*´艸｀)☆Hot spice lemonadeAlthough it is a sweet and sour lemonade, it has a good texture, is mellow, and has a refreshing aftertaste, making it delicious! !Some restaurants have strong spices, but it's pretty easy to drink with just a hint of spice.I think it would be great for people who are looking for a cute cafe, a stylish cafe, or people who want to talk with people from overseas ♡It's at the back of the Tsuruhashi shopping street, so if you know about it, it might be nice (*´艸)Thank you for the meal☆
