The futon smells mustyIt's pointless because the cover comes off right away.Probably because there are many foreigners, there are no manners.

If you just want to sleep, it's normal, neither okay nor impossible. The interior design is very flattering, and even foreigners stay here.If you just want to sleep and don't have to pay for accommodation, you can stay overnight.

I lived here for about 1 year.Yeah, the building is old, the rooms are older than the building and the space is like staying in a coffin, but nothing I didn't have back in the time at the military. On the other hand it is really cheap, i could make good contacts for work and friends staying in the hall and common spaces and the staff were pretty kind.

THE MOST- The biggest advantage is the price! It's the cheapest accommodation I've had in a month in Japan (1100 yen per night) and what's more, it's a single room while my other reservations were in hostels. Afterwards, you shouldn't expect luxury either, it remains quite Spartan. But if you're not too picky and have a tight budget, it might do the trick.- The second positive point is the free bike rental (in exchange for your room key), which can be used to visit Osaka. Be careful though, you must return it before 11 p.m., because there will be no one at reception afterwards to return your key. You also have self-service umbrellas, you want to borrow them for free.- The hotel is correctly located, in Tsutenkaku, not very far from the tower and the lively area with restaurants. The Dotombori district is perhaps even better, but Tsutenkaku is still worth the detour.THE LEAST- The room is very spartan, its width is approximately that of the futon placed on the floor on which you sleep. The hotel overlooks the road and the sound insulation is almost non-existent, you can hear the noise of passing cars, even at night. So bring earplugs and masks, but even with that, I sometimes had trouble sleeping.- It's hot in the room, there is no air conditioning (the receptionist had warned me anyway), at least in the one I reserved, I don't know about the others. And there is no fan either (there was a portable one but apparently it didn't work). The sun beat down on the window, it was hot at night (I was there at the beginning of June) and it was a bit hot during the day (all the more reason to visit the city).- The other drawback for me was the fact that there was no wifi in the rooms: you had to go to the lounge downstairs, and put up with guests who put their cell phones on loud speaker or sniffed loudly , all that is not very palatable. Otherwise there was also the sofa next to the reception and the lounge, but it was smoked by people who were smoking. I hope it's not like that all the time and that it was just bad luck for me those days.- There are no showers on the upper floors, you have to go down to reception and change your room key for a locker key for the showers. And in the end the showers are like those in Japanese public baths, no individual cabins. No towels are provided, nor toiletries, everything is extra if necessary.

I looked it up on the internet and it was cheap, so I came to stay and found a room with an air conditioner for 2,700 yen for two people, but a tick came out in the middle of the night and I woke up bitten, so I won't be coming back again 😠

8/30 rewriteStayed in mid-May.There were multiple bed bugs.It is unclear whether he was in the room or whether he brought him in from outside. There were multiple marks of crushed bed bug larvae and adults on the sheets. The room with the flooring is better. It was a tatami mat, but it was hiding in the gaps between the tatami mats. Also, it was hiding between the sheets so I had to check.Guests (foreigners) stay at the front desk even late at night, making it difficult to use the microwave, etc. There's a dog. I wanted to touch it...Access is really good and I'm glad there's no curfew. If only there were no turtles (bed bugs).

Anyway, I used a room that was cheap (lol) for 1,300 yen. The room had a window fan, a TV, and a smoking area, but if you put a futon on it, there was no living space. I stayed for a week and had no particular complaints.
