It's pretty difficult to leave a review for this hotel as the experience that we had was a bit of a mixed bag. We stayed for 3 nights in a Superior King Room and I'm torn on how to rate it.The positives:- Location wise, it's amazing. You can reach the hotel in about 30 minutes from Osaka Station. The closest subway station (Ebisucho) is a 4 minute walk away, which means that you have easy access to everything. In spite of being pretty central, the actual location is very quiet. A konbini is available right next to the hotel and the Shinsekai Market is a 8 minute walk away should you want to grab a bite at the many restaurants available there.- The size of the room was great and opening our 2 medium size luggage bags was no problem. We even had a pretty big balcony available with a nice view (we were fortunate to get a room on the 11th floor). There are no chairs in the balcony so it felt like all that space was kind of wasted unfortunately.- You get the standard basic amenities, such as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, towels and pajamas etc.- This is not a traditional hotel as there's no front desk available. You just get a code on the day of your check which you use to get into the building and then you pick up your key from a lockbox that's next to your room door. We had no problems with this, the process to get in was super fast.- There's also a luggage locker in the lobby of the hotel, which could prove useful in case you want to store your stuff before or after checking in or out. We didn't need it so I didn't get a good look at it, but be aware that you might have to pay for this. For the negatives:Something felt a bit off about the room. I'm not sure how old this hotel is, but everything kind of felt dated. There were a couple of things that sticked out:- One nightstand was supposed to serve as a power outlet but had no actual power.- A lamp had a cable that was ripped apart and looked dangerous. Fortunately that was not plugged in when we got there.- You have a small kitchen, however, the kitchenware is severely lacking. There's no dish drying rack and we also found one knife that had rust on it...- If you want to expand the couch and turn it into a bed, no sheets are provided for it.- There was an extra blanked in the room (I assume it was for the couch) but when we took that out, we immediately saw a very large brown stain on it so we put it back...- If you fill up the trash can, you need to take it out yourself.- There's a booklet in the room with instructions on how to use the utilities in the room, however, we were unable to figure out how to stop the bathroom fan no matter how much we tried.- You get slippers, however, they're the not the single use type, instead, they're standard leather type, which felt.. very unsanitary. I'd like to think they are cleaned up between guests but taking the things mentioned above in consideration, I doubt it.Overall, it's not a bad hotel. If you just want a place to stay that's located in a good area and is spacious, this should be more than enough, especially for the price, but it's clear that some corners have been cut to get here. It's up to you if these matter so much or not

We stayed 8 nights at the hotel. All automated. We had no problems entering or checking out. The apartment is very large and spacious and even has a terrace. Good big fridge (not noisy), toilet separate from the bathroom and shower. Washer dryer... And very comfortable and large bed. Just like the TV... The location is quite correct. It is a very quiet area, with supermarkets and shops right there. And the metro at 400m. Ideal for enjoying Osaka and the surrounding area like another Japanese.

We got transferred to this hotel from another hotel as our AC at the other hotel did not work and the other hotel was fully booked. The manager who is also the manager of this hotel said that this hotel was owned by the same company. He arranged a driver to transfer us to the other hotel with our luggages which was great. The room is more spacious than the other hotel room but it was not this location we wanted to stay at.Our other hotel was only a few minutes walk to Dontonbori but now we needed to take the public transport to get out there. There is no front desk but they did manage to answer us pretty fast through the message system through booking every time.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at the 谷町君Hotel in Osaka. The hotel truly fulfilled our expectations in several key areas.AccommodationThe rooms were absolutely fantastic, earning a perfect 5-star rating (price-quality-ratio). They were spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a pleasant stay.LocationOne of the hotel's strongest points is its location, deserving a full 5-star rating. It was perfectly situated for exploring Osaka with kids, with easy access to public transportation and many attractions within walking distance. The hotel's location is ideal for sightseeing. The lively Shinsekai district with its colourful streets and delicious street food options is just a short walk away. The extensive Tennoji Park, a green oasis in the centre of the city, is also within easy walking distance. An absolute highlight in the neighbourhood is the Abeno Harukas, Japan's tallest building, which offers a breathtaking view over Osaka and is also just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Our overall experience at the 谷町君Hotel was very positive, reflected in our 4-star rating. The combination of comfortable rooms and excellent location made it an ideal base for our family vacation in Osaka. This hotel is a great choice for families visiting Osaka, offering a balance of comfort, convenience, price and value that suited our needs perfectly. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Japan.

Hello! We plan to move in on October 10th! About 11 people (already booked) would like to ask if there is a second-hand store nearby?
