There aren't any shops around where you can shop, so you have to bring your own stuff, but it was nice. The mixed bathing hot spring at the Seaside Hotel nearby was also nice.

It is a guest house, but you can rent the whole house for 3,300 yen per night, which is an extraordinary deal. When I told them that I had stopped by on a trip, they provided me with food and other assistance, and in the evening, I was treated to a light drinking party, which made for some fun memories 🙆‍♂️I will go again 🚗 Thank you for your help

I'm surprised that there are places where you can rent out a whole house for such a low price. It was a wonderful place that made me feel like it was a waste to stay only for one night. The bathrooms are fully equipped with a reheating function, and the air conditioner is extremely effective. I was also grateful that I was able to use the washing machine.I was worried about whether I would know where to park my car, but I received an email with detailed directions in several places before my stay, and there were signs posted on site, so I was able to park my car without any worries. There is no problem with the fully equipped kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator. If I had to make a negative point, it would be that the Wi-Fi was too weak in the room, although it might depend on the time of day.I was able to grab it outdoors without any problems.I wasn't able to see Mt. Sakurajima during my visit to Kagoshima this time, so I would like to use it when I visit again.

This is a very nice guest house.Thank you for taking care of me on my trip to Kagoshima from Kanto. The parking lot is also large,Please contact us via email in advance to find out how to enter your room. The kitchen and other facilities are amazing.Hygiene is also very well maintained. There is also a rice cooker, so you can cook rice. There is also a cassette stove and grill, soGrilled Aira's famous chin meat and local chicken,Make hot water,I made a lot of progress in mixing the potato shochu with hot water while snacking on chicken sashimi.I'm really surprised by everything.I have been traveling all over Japan,It's rare to find such a super comfortable and cost-effective accommodation. Moreover, there are seasonings,The refrigerator and freezer also have large capacity. The owner's response was very polite.I have a very good impression of him as a nice young man!I myself have roots in southern Kyushu,It's really amazing in many ways. . I can't lift my head.I would like to come to Sakurajima again soon, and I would definitely like to stay at this inn.

I made a reservation over the phone for the same day, but there were no other customers and I had the whole building to myself. Moreover, it was a cheap 1,980 yen (at the time) for same-day reservations.I was also allowed to go inside the closed school building, and I was able to enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of the school.

The signboard for the Kaishin Exchange Center (elementary school building) visible from the national highway toward the sea is a landmark. Be careful as the gateposts in the parking lot where you can enter at night are narrow!Facilities include plates, chopsticks, a microwave, rice cooker, refrigerator, pots, frying pans, and a gas stove. If you shop at A Coop, you can cook your own meals. The bed was comfortable with air conditioning, tatami mats, mattresses, and cotton futons.Things I wish I had had more of were the lack of Wi-Fi, the lights in the living room being a bit dim, and the front door being so dark that I couldn't see clearly when I came home at night. It was about 30 seconds away from the parking lot, so it was a bit difficult to carry luggage in the rain. There are stairs that lead to the national highway, so it might have been easier to access from there if you were carrying large luggage. There is a bath, but you can also use a natural hot spring nearby (Kori Onsen, open-air bath with a sea view, 500 yen). Magma Onsen (Rainbow Sakurajima) at the ferry terminal has a sauna for 390 yen, so you can stretch your legs there depending on your mood. The owner was a very kind person who wanted to revitalize Kagoshima. As you walk around Sakurajima, you can see glimpses of empty houses and ruins. The large number of young people leaving the prefecture is a serious problem. I hope that it will continue to do its best as an information dissemination base for Sakurajima. We are rooting for you.

The building was originally an elementary school staff dormitory, so it had everything necessary for daily life. There are jars, pots, plates, etc. in the kitchen where you can cook. Amenities such as towels and shampoo are available for a fee. There is a day trip hot spring at the nearby Sakurajima Seaside Hotel for 500 yen/person, so you might be able to take a bath there. The owner is a very friendly person.
