I used the family bath. 60 minutes 1000 yen.The water is quite hot and I can't wait for 60 minutes. Hot water with a smooth iron smell. It's warm. It will be hot for a while after you go out. After taking a bath, your skin doesn't feel smooth, but does it feel a little sticky? Comfortable to wipe. The bathroom doesn't seem to be cleaned at all? However, it looks dirty due to the quality of the spring water. No shampoo, conditioner, or body soap. Let's bring it.Is this where the entrance is? When you walk in with the wind, it feels a bit deserted, with a Showa era vibe. The guy at the reception is so friendly. For 1000 yen for a family bath, I can't complain.

General price: 410 yen. A family bath costs 1000 yen.The hot water is hot. There is no sulfur odor. When you drink it, the iron content is quite high and it tastes a little salty. My husband is super salty. The entrance looks suspicious. It's cheap and you can get away with it.It's right next to the airport, so it might be a good idea if you have extra time.Even if you plan to have it all to yourself, it's too hot to stay for long, so be careful.

On the way to Kirishima Onsen, I saw a signboard in the middle of the mountain. . . Shall we go? As you go up the mountain, you will see a signboard for Ramune Onsen. There is also a family bath, and it seems that you can also eat there. That's great!

I heard that there is a carbonated spring in Kirishima, so I headed to Sochira. The road leading to the hot springs is so narrow that you can't pass each other. The parking lot is gravel. The entrance to the hot spring is a staircase. This place retains the remains of an old spa. There are now several prefabricated buildings where you can stay overnight.I got permission to take photos inside the hot springs at a time when it was just about the time when the crowds had cleared. The men's bath also has an open-air bath, so I was able to take a tour of Sochira as well. Nice - open air.Carbonated springs have a low temperature, so soaking in them for a long time (about 10 to 20 minutes) is said to be most effective, so soak in them slowly. Please bring your own shampoo as there is no shampoo in the washroom. Of course there are no towels. The proprietress here serves Korean food, which is said to be delicious.

The other day, my husband and I stayed for one night without meals. The wife was very friendly and easy to talk to, and the husband was also kind and always had a smile on his face. They provided towels and shampoo, and wherever you could drink hot spring water, they provided plastic bottles for you to take home, which was very nice.It was quiet and surrounded by nature, and the indoor bath was hot, which was my favorite type of hot spring. The room was clean, there was no musty smell, and the futon was clean and comfortable.I heard that the grounds are spacious and that you can have a BBQ, so I definitely want to go there again when I come to Kagoshima!

If you want to take a bath with your kids around here, try a private bath or this Ramune Onsen. (Free for children under 5 years old)The open-air men's bath has lukewarm water, making it a small heated pool.

50 minutes by car from Kagoshima City 🚙 08/10 I stopped by with my family on a hot Saturday. The hot spring ♨️ was just the right temperature and there weren't many customers, so we were able to enjoy it to our heart's content. It is unique that the place to change clothes and the indoor bath are the same → I did not take any photos. What is noteworthy is the hospitality. Every corner is well organized, and there are lockers for valuables.Shampoo, body wash, soap🧼, and even scrubbers can be borrowed for free at the counter. The prices are low and it's just like the old hot springs! I thought it was a good feeling. It may not be for tourists, but that's good too!
