This historic inn has excellent hot springs and meals. The view from the open-air bath is also attractive. It is a place loved by locals for bathing.

We were there for two nights. The room was simple and pleasant. Unfortunately there are no private toilets, but there is a wonderful view of the valley. The staff was super nice. We also felt very welcome with our 10-month-old son. We particularly recommend the steam sauna and jumping into the hot springs at 7 in the morning. Hiking during the day is almost mandatory in this location.

Stop by? I used it for a day trip bath. There is a lower bath, but I think the view of the four seasons from the upper bath with its scenic open-air bath is very nice.。゚+.(・∀・)゚+.゚The hot springs had a unique sulfur scent, but were refreshing. If this is the season, the autumn leaves will change color and it will be a special experience. Also, many people came to enjoy the steam bath, which is only available here. Also, after taking a bath, you can buy eggs and make hot spring eggs in a steamer. Freshly made and piping hot, it's also very delicious (*´~`*)ŧ‹"ŧ‹"ŧ‹"A cute customer? I also met some residents 😆

Use for day tripNot only the view from the open-air bath, but also the steam bath that uses the heat from the source will impress you.The facility is well-maintained, clean, and very comfortable. You can also make your own hot spring eggs at the restaurant next door.

I stopped by to relieve the fatigue from mountain climbing.Since it is located on a hill, you can see Ebino City from the open-air bath. The night view must be beautiful at night. The hell bath is also worth seeing here. This is my first experience in a sauna like this. It was a bit of a surprise. I don't know how to get in, so I'm just trying to figure out how to get in. The cold bath after that was the best though. I'm impressed by the nice hot springs.I felt that the hot springs around Kirishima were really good. This is my 4th time visiting the hot springs today, but I never get tired of it.I'm so jealous of hot springs.

I stopped by and enjoyed the hot springs and steam bath.First, we steamed to our heart's content in a natural steam bath separate from the main building, soothing the fatigue of our trip. After it has been thoroughly steamed and warmed up, you can finish off your bath in the indoor bath and open-air bath in the main building.Since the main building and the steam bath are separated, it can be a bit of a hassle to get dressed, so we recommend women wear dresses that can be easily worn. This hot spring is said to be where Saigo Takamori visited and stayed for three months to heal his mind and body. Saigo-don was also looking at this view. This is one of the hot springs I would like to visit again!

It is a hot spring with a long history, and is said to have been visited by Takamori Saigo.I think it was a quaint building when I visited 20 years ago, but it has now been rebuilt and turned into a beautiful hot spring inn.I used it as a drop-in hot spring. This time it was raining and thundering so I couldn't see the scenery very well, but I think it's the best when the weather is nice. The bathroom has an indoor bath and an open-air bath. The only amenities are body soap. There is no shampoo or conditioner. The hot water is a little cloudy and smells like sulfur, so it's a little lukewarm and pleasant. There is also a separate steam bath.Unfortunately, I couldn't go in this time due to time constraints.By the way, the indoor bath and the open-air bath are in different locations, so you will have to get dressed before you go. It is not possible to move naked or in underwear.

On the way to camp, I stopped by for a morning bath. This is my second time, but my first time taking a hell bug bath. It was during the Obon period, but since it was early in the morning, it was almost reserved. I'm not a sauna person, but I enjoyed the steam, temperature, and water bath (temperature) here, which seemed to work well together. The open-air bath is also available for private use. I took a very long bath while admiring the spectacular morning view. After going up, I was so aware that I felt ``refreshed.'' I would like to stay there next time. thank you very much.
