View is decent. Staff are friendly and helpful. But I have to be fair to the other five stars reviews I have given before, hence a lower rating. There are some minor issues but please don’t let it stop you from visiting if you find a fair deal. I didn’t had the chance to try their cuisine — maybe it’s good too. Some suggestions- installing curtain on some side window also would further improve privacy(But currently the glass in public area are blurred so others can’t really see your room from there.)- remember to clean the curtain also, especially the one in the bathroom.- would be great if the temperature of the hot spring bath can be adjusted. Also, the front door of the hotel will be locked by 2200. You will need to call their front desk. Not a huge issue for us coz we didn’t had late night plan, but you might want to take note.

This is a small, fairly new Onzen hotel. The rooms have a private Onzen tub. We had a smaller room, which was neat and clean. The bath tub outside felt slightly exposed, though. The specialize on French style dinner option. We had a light meat dinner. All courses where excellent, but it was indeed a very light dinner.Staff was friendly. We very much enjoyed the stay. I'd you are fine with being in an Onzen without the classic ryokan feel, this is a nice place. If you arrive by train there is a good ten minute walk. Expect to walk down a step Hill and then up again.Ah, you better speak Japanese.

I would say it is probably a fair hotel, with nice view, Japanese styled western food and lovely interior design. …

Good location and basic content of rooms, with nice bath, but:(1) Overpriced in terms of food and service. Food is ordinary; staff is rigid and pretentious in politeness.(2) Beds are cheap (Nittori) and hard as a rock.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding. The hot spring in the room is a little hot at 42 degrees, so you can warm up well. If you have a room with a garden, you can chill out in the hot springs and outside. The spring quality is a chloride hot spring that is common in Atami, and it is salty when you lick it, and stings a little if it gets into your eyes. The hot water was smooth to the touch. The footbath in the garden was nice, but if you tried to sit there, the water would overflow and wet your pants lol. If you try to enter the footbath from a stool along the wall, you will be in a slightly awkward position. There is no problem if you sit on a chair, but there was only one movable chair in the garden, so I think it would have been better if there were two chairs for two people.I used it in October and was able to spend a relaxing time in a quiet place. Recommended for people who want to spend a relaxing time forgetting the hustle and bustle of the city, people who like hot springs and delicious food, and couples. The staff were also kind and polite, and I would like to use them again.

We used it on our last trip as a couple before giving birth. I was looking for an inn with delicious food and an open-air bath attached to the room, and decided to stay here as it also had a maternity plan.Meal: Calm space, smart serving. Each dish was explained in detail, and even though we were not familiar with it, we had a great time. My husband especially seemed to like the sweet potato potage. The soup had a variety of textures and tastes with the accent of chorizo and the homemade sweet potato dumplings, and it was exquisitely delicious. As part of the maternity plan, they prepared different meals for pregnant women, taking into consideration the degree of doneness of meat, raw foods, alcohol, etc. I was also happy with the detailed service, including cushions and blankets, herbal tea to choose from, and a congratulatory message on the final plate.Personally, I liked that they have a wide selection of drinks that are not only alcohol-free but also low-alcohol.Meal times were confirmed at check-in, and you could choose from 5:00 or 17:30 for dinner and 8:00 or 8:30 for breakfast.Room: We stayed in a suite with an open-air bath. When we entered the main room from the front room, the ocean view spread out across the large window, and the two of us couldn't help but cheer. Is the equipment old? I had read some reviews pointing this out in advance, but the cleaning and cleanliness was very good so I didn't mind at all. I used the bath on the balcony at night and in the morning, and although it was outside without a roof, there were almost no insects or trash, and the view was good, so it was very comfortable. There are plenty of amenities, and I was especially surprised that there was even an emergency helmet in the room.Response: He was smart from start to finish. I used the shuttle service, and I am grateful that they were willing to accommodate last-minute requests and move the time forward. The road to the inn has many ups and downs, and I think it would have been difficult to walk from the station. I was also impressed by the careful consideration given to pregnant women, such as moving luggage and steps when getting in and out of the car.We had a wonderful time. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed with my mother for one night in early October.Unfortunately the weather was bad, but we were lucky enough to see the early morning sunrise from our room.I was able to relax in the soft hot spring bath in my room while looking out at the calm sea.The French full course and alcohol pairing made me feel very delicious and satisfied. I was introduced to this pepper at a dinner party, and I fell in love with it, so I bought it as a souvenir.

Last year, my husband and I stayed at Sengoku-tei in Hakone. The food, the room, and the staff there were wonderful, so we started talking about going to Atami, and since our wedding anniversary was coming up, we decided to stay there this time.In a very quiet environment, I enjoyed the wonderful food, conversations with the staff, and soaking in the hot springs while looking out at the ocean, which was very relaxing for both mind and body. thank you very much.

I visited here with my pregnant wife (8 months) on our last trip before giving birth. It was a smart service, starting with a pick-up from the nearest station (Izu-Taga Station), meeting us, guiding us inside the building, and providing explanations. The room had relaxing background music, was clean and easy to use.The hot springs are also designed to allow you to stretch your legs.Bathing while overlooking the sea of Atami was the best. The dinner course was also offered as a special menu for pregnant women, and each and every service staff member was very attentive to even the smallest detail. The wines that were paired with the dishes had a well-thought-out flavor from beginning to end, and everything from the sommelier's wine selection to the chef's commitment was outstanding.(Personally, the most delicious thing was the marriage of lemongrass and red shiso jelly with sherry wine as an appetizer, and the combination of the fish dish, sea bass (I forgot to take a photo), and the orange wine, it was just too delicious. I was surprised. Also, the olive oil and daidai pepper on the bread were really delicious...It was so delicious that I bought two daidai peppers as souvenirs. After the meal, we even received a cute surprise plate from the hotel with a picture of a baby on it as a baby gift for the mignardaise (small sweets), and I was moved by the thoughtfulness of the guests and their desire to entertain them until the very end.The food, presentation, and service are all highly rated.I wanted the place to be even better, so if I had to make a point, it would be that the pillows were a little too soft.(It must have been adjusted by using two layers, but they were both too soft and didn't fit well...(._.))I said that I would definitely come back next time after I finished raising my child (although I'm a little impatient after talking to my wife about it, haha).Thank you very much for the wonderful time!
