Nice and clean. Public bath was nice. Laundry is on the same level as the public bath. Very perfect so I can wait for them to dry after had a bath, then enjoyed complimentary ice cream and used the vending machine for drinks. Our triple room was spacious , very comfortable beds we all had a great stay. Staff are all very friendly. Just abit off from Main Street but it’s only 10 mins walk from station but I still think I made a great choice. We only used the free drink once it’s good enough have a drink at the lobby after dinner

Thank you for your help during my trip. The hotel was really nice and clean, and it was great to be able to read the manga. However, most of the people seemed to be from overseas. While using the public bath, someone was taking pictures of their children with their smartphones, which made other customers angry. The breakfast bread was very delicious 😋

♨️ Our kids were all set for our first family onsen experience at Wat Hotel & Spa Hida Takayama, and it was everything we hoped it would be! We were incredibly lucky to secure one of the three rooms with a private onsen pool, which made the experience even more special. The private onsen came with its own dressing and shower area, giving us all the privacy and comfort we needed to enjoy the experience as a family. It was our first time enjoying an onsen together, and we couldn’t have asked for a better setting. The water was relaxing, and being able to enjoy it in the comfort of our own space made it perfect for the kids. They were thrilled to be part of this traditional Japanese experience, and it was a fun way to bond and unwind after a busy day exploring Takayama. For anyone planning a stay at Wat Hotel and Spa, we highly recommend booking a room with a private onsen if you can. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy the hot springs in a more intimate and family-friendly setting, especially if you’re traveling with young children. This will definitely be a memory we treasure for years to come!
