Very lovely experience staying here!We had a lovely room with a projector where we could watch movies on several streaming services!You share bathroom and shower as this is a 民宿 (maybe “guest house” is the best translation).The vibe was very authentic and a proper Japanese experience. Especially the people working there and taking care of us made the experience better. We felt really good taken care off.I will say it can be a problem, if you don’t speak Japanese, however another foreign couple stayed as well, and for them google translate was the way to communicate and it went fine!

I stayed there the other day and used it as a pub.I personally think it was good.Personally, I thought it was a good distance since Gero Onsen can be reached in about 30 minutes.The room was nice and felt like a guesthouse.I thought it was nice that the room was on the second floor and the first floor was an izakaya so you could eat there.I thought it was also good because I didn't have to go out of my way to call someone on my behalf.I also thought it was nice that breakfast was included and they asked me when to eat and prepared it for me.I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

We were warmly welcomed and we had a great time.The dashimaki egg was delicious.There is also a hot spring at the nearby roadside station.

I stayed here to sample sake at Okuhida Sake Brewery. It takes less than 5 minutes on foot.The room is 8 tatami mats plus an alcove, which is enough for 3 people. Cleaning is also no problem. It has a projector so you can enjoy playing watermelon games and watching videos.I don't have a key, so I take my valuables with me and go to the pub downstairs.I was worried about the voices talking at night, so I was glad to be able to play the video.Breakfast was of sufficient quantity and taste.There is a bath, but the hot water is not very good and the changing area is quite small. Therefore, I can recommend a day trip bathing facility nearby.It is recommended for those who like staying in old folk houses at this price.

The rooms are very small. I didn't have a key, so managing my valuables was difficult. Also, since the first floor is a pub, it is very noisy at night. I can't sleep even if I want to. I cannot recommend staying there. Dinner was mediocre.

I stayed here on the way back from Gero Onsen!There was an izakaya on the first floor and a Japanese-style room on the second floor!The locals were very friendly and made us feel very welcome! It was a valuable experience because I usually only drink at pubs with my family!The room was big enough for one person and I slept very well! I don't have a key to my room, so I can't turn it.Personally, I think it's a very nice place! It was an inn that I would like to stay at again if I have the opportunity!
