It is located 15 minutes by bus from Gifu Station. The Nagara River was right in front of us, and the view from the window was amazing. The room is a spacious Japanese-style room with separate toilet and bath. There is no toilet in the room, but it was very clean so I didn't have any problems. The bath is a large public bath in the building next door. The washing area had 7 seats, one bathtub and one open-air bath. I thought they had good products such as face wash, emulsion shampoo conditioner, and body soap because my hair was smooth and smooth the next day. In the evening, we were served delicious food one after another in our room, which made us very satisfied. In the morning, we were taken to the dining room and had a sumptuous Japanese breakfast that we couldn't finish with just one bowl of rice. At night, it was cormorant fishing season, so I was able to sit and watch the scenery along the river, which was very nice and atmospheric. When I took a morning walk in the Nagara River, I could see the bottom of the water and it was soothing. If I had to say one thing, it would be nice if there was a shuttle car from the station.

Overall a nice inn. The rooms are clean and the staff are kind.Unfortunately, there was no indoor bath. The view of the Nagara River from the room was really nice, but probably because of the season, there were a lot of insects on the windows. There is no elevator, so there are stairs, so it may be a little difficult for people with physical disabilities.

We stayed for two nights in a small group from Australia. Lovely service, beautiful room and lovely quiet onsen. It was quiet when we visited and got to use the onsen by ourselves. We enjoyed watching the cormorant fishing with our lovely dinner and all the activities are very close nearby. Highly recommend staying.

I stayed in a Japanese-style room called Kawaka. The room has been renovated and is very clean. However, there were a lot of ticks on the bed and I was bitten. If you don't mind that, I think the service is very good.

It's in a location with very poor access and you can easily get lost. I had a hard time finding a parking lot at the inn, and no matter how many times I tried to call, the phone was not answered while I was wandering back and forth. . Later, they mistakenly said, ``We couldn't answer the phone because we were understaffed.'' . . It really felt like nothing was turning. We were told that there was a parking lot, but when we arrived, we were told that it was full of cars from people having a party at the inn. It's a wooden building with very thin walls, so the banquets are noisy, you can hear conversations in the next room, and you can wake up just by opening the door. The room has been renovated so it's comfortable, but the room next door is really noisy so it's the worst. The hot springs also smell like iron and have an unpleasant feel to the touch, so I don't think this would be suitable for people who like hot springs that are smooth and soft to the touch after a bath.If it costs 11,000 yen per night here, a business hotel is definitely better. People who got drunk from a party are relaxing and chatting in the lobby, so it feels like you're staying at a bar rather than enjoying a relaxing hot spring hotel.

The elementary school children's dinner was very luxurious. The adult kaiseki was also delicious. The soup stock in the hot pot was especially good. They also served miso-flavored sweetfish, so I was able to compare it with salt-grilled sweetfish. As a fan of draft beer, I'm a little disappointed that there's no draft beer available. As for the bath, the open-air bath was a brown hot spring and felt good. I was moved by the 1300 year history of cormorant fishing. The 6 cormorant fishermen were really wonderful. However, there was a wait time of about 45 minutes after getting on the boat, so it's a good idea to bring your own drinks. Since I'm traveling with children, I usually stay in hotels, but I thought a ryokan would be a good idea as well. The kids loved it too. It was a fun stay. thank you very much.

Enjoying the wonderful inn, the cityscape and nature reminiscent of the Sengoku period, we were able to connect with the time when Oda Nobunaga lived, transcending time. It was a fun time in the city with friends. The hot spring in the open-air bath was good.
