During the extremely hot season, they prepared a spot cooler, so we were able to spend the evening comfortably. From night to dawn, the outside air cooled down and it was comfortable to open the windows.

I used it for 1 night and 2 days.A place full of nature and delicious air! !Start with Yamato-kun's energetic welcome!Experience walking in the mountains with the shop owner and Yamato-kun(It was the season of fresh greenery, and it was a great experience bathing in negative ions)Harvesting fresh vegetables in the host's field(My favorite is arugula)I was so shocked when I bit into the freshly harvested vegetables on the spot! Vegetables are so sweet, have such a strong aroma, and are so rich (I'm impressed)Chopping firewood and cooking the rice in a pot was refreshing, and the rice was very delicious!Make chamomile tea with freshly picked chamomile ♡We made tempura with fish caught in a nearby river with a net. I also ate freshwater crab for the first time! !Both were so delicious! !At night, enjoy a relaxing time while watching the bonfire and the starry sky.I was able to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and spend time facing my true self.I definitely want to use it again! Also, Tsukushi the goatIt was so cute and soothing (* ´ ` *)ᐝthank you very much!

You can experience rural life! The old private house, which was renovated by the host himself, has many good old parts, but also has a clean feel. When you first arrive, the dog Yamato-kun will welcome you🐕️Recommended for animal lovers as you can interact with the goat Tsukushi 🐐If you wish, you can make your own fire, cook rice in a pot, plant the fields, harvest, catch fish and crabs from the nearby river, and eat the freshly caught ingredients in the garden. It has an exceptional taste. We were able to take a walk in the mountains and play in the river in the neighborhood, we were shown tourist spots such as waterfalls in Mihara city by car, and we enjoyed the starry sky at night, making it a very relaxing one night and two day stay!Next time I would like to go in the fall when I can dig potatoes 🍠

There's such a wonderful place just 30 minutes from Onomichi City...!The location in the back mountain is the best! !There are rivers and shrines. And an old folk house that was DIY'd using lumber cut and sawn from trees in the back mountain. It was a very comfortable inn with a slight smell of wood. One night is not enough! It was fascinating from many different angles, and I wondered who I should go with next.

This is an old Japanese-style inn located at the foot of Hachiman Hachimangu Shrine. The interior, which was renovated by the owner himself, was simple, cute, and comfortable.I ordered dinner, and all of the dishes carefully prepared by the owner were delicious. I was very happy to see that they used horsetail tsukudani, dandelion roots, and many other seasonal wild vegetables! I had it with glossy rice cooked in a Hagama pot😋I brought my kids there, and they had a great time playing with the signboard dog Yamato and Goat, and going for a walk in the forest! This forest felt so good again☺️It's an area where there aren't many cherry blossom viewing visitors, so the cherry blossom season is also recommended 🌸

This time, I stayed at my long-awaited inn with my loved ones♪ The location is perfect, with cherry blossoms and a stream nearby ❤︎Yamato-kun from Jomon Shiba gently welcomes you at the entrance♪There is a stylish low dirt floor at the entrance, making it safe for small children. There were so many DIY ideas throughout the room, such as plaster walls, furniture, and windows, that I was enchanted and excited just looking at them ❤︎Wood is used abundantly in the restroom and bath, and even though it is an old folk house, it is clean and has a modern modern feel. The futon was warm and comfortable even on a chilly night ❤︎The dishes were all great, with Japanese knotweed, dandelion roots, dried daikon radish, and Japanese licorice seasoned with koji seasonings✴︎In the morning, I spent my morning in the garden♪ I took a walk around the area, saw goats, rode on the swing, and had the happiest holiday (o^^o)Above all, the host's lifestyle and stories were wonderful✴︎You can relax with your family, relatives, and friends at a farewell party, welcome party, or when you return home for a visit to a nearby grave or a memorial service, or for those who long for country life.

I usually live on a remote island, so I felt very comfortable with the hometown atmosphere in the mountains❣️I was soothed by the animals, children, gentle mountains, and the way time seemed to move slowly.

I was able to experience a lot of nature in a wonderful old folk house that I don't usually get to do! It was lots of fun, including chopping wood, cooking rice in a hagama pot, digging potatoes, and feeding the goats! The host was also very kind. I would love to visit you again.

This is my second visit.I stayed for two nights this time, and the food was delicious every morning and night, and I was looking forward to it. I had the impression that they incorporated ingredients that were kind to the body, such as local vegetables, venison, and homemade koji soup and dressing. He served me so much food that I couldn't finish every time.Nearby islands such as Sakijima and Omishima, scenic spots where you can feel nature, Hiroshima Airport (Sora no Eki Orchard), and Onomichi are easily accessible by car, making it an easy location for sightseeing. I would like to visit you again.

40 minutes by car from Onomichi Old Town. Although I couldn't go very far, I stayed with a friend because I wanted to relieve my daily fatigue and experience something extraordinary.Even though it's only 40 minutes, you'll be overwhelmed by the nature that feels like another world. The interior of the old folk house was made of wood and had a very warm feel. The wood is carefully cut and sawn by hand. It seems that most of the interior was DIYed by the owner, which is impressive.Personally, I was fascinated by the picture window in the kitchen. I don't usually cook, but I've always wanted to cook here! It was such a wonderful place. It was also fun to cook together with the owner. We also have a wood-fired bath that we heat ourselves. For breakfast, I cooked rice in the oven with the owner and ate fried egg with rice, and I was able to experience how to live in harmony with nature, which was refreshing.I wasn't able to get up early this time, but it looks like it would be nice to take an early morning walk! I would definitely like to stay again. thank you very much.
