This is a wonderful inn where you can feel Taisho romance in a hot spring town with a sense of unexplored area.The slippery hot springs with a faint sulfur smell are soothing, and the open-air baths are lukewarm.It's a very good place

After crossing the dream suspension bridge, I took a day trip to the bath. It cost ¥600 to bring a towel, and I was able to wipe off my sweat, feel refreshed, and feel refreshed on my way home.

Except for the fact that the location is too remote, it's a really nice place. As hard as it is to come by, it is more than worth it. I was really impressed with the service and would like to come again next time.The persimmons I received at the end were so delicious.

The road was narrow and it was difficult to get there, but it felt like a hidden gem and was very nice. The view of the valley is wonderful. The slippery hot springs are very nice, and you can relax in the lukewarm water in the open air. There were some negative comments from the foreign servers, but I found them very pleasant and I honestly enjoyed them. The food is delicious and just right for a man in his 50s.

The building and equipment are not new, but they are well-maintained and clean, so it doesn't bother me. It gives you a feel of good old Japan.The hot springs have a unique, thick water that seems to be good for your skin.For dinner, I had the charcoal grilled meal plan, and it was delicious.The heat will drop while you're eating, so use chopsticks to rearrange the charcoal to get just the right amount of heat.It takes about 2 hours round trip on foot from the inn to Yume no Suspension Bridge.We recommend going early on weekdays, but there will be fewer people, so be sure to bring a bell to keep bears away.

Sumatakyo Onsen was better than I expected.The faint sulfur smell and the slimy, lotion-like hot water are really nice.It's so far from the highway.Also, after the rain, I get eaten by leeches...my first time being eaten by leeches...It's not inside the hotel. While strolling around Sumata Gorge.

We stayed here for one night in March.Good points· Hot spring water qualityWhat wasn't good· It's very cold because it's right outside the room.Even if you warm yourself up in a hot spring, the water gets cold.・The food is ordinary for both dinner and breakfast.

I came here on a solo trip.We stayed on a slightly more generous meal plan with an upgrade.I don't drink alcohol, so I wanted to eat something exciting with rice.However, they don't serve rice with the meal.I'm not saying foreigners are bad, but it's difficult for waitstaff to understand Japanese.Pickles and rice come out after the food is gone.It was a very disappointing meal.It's a really sad memory.I wish there were at least some waitstaff and that the food would be brought quickly.Even though I asked, I couldn't eat the rice and the food together.It's a really frustrating memory.

2024.8.9I stayed here because I wanted to go to the dream suspension bridge. Suikoen was quite lively in a deserted hot spring town.The entrance has a nice atmosphere, and there are interesting things such as ornaments, furniture, and historical exhibits.The room was a Japanese-style room, and there was a hearth in the next room. There aren't many outlets, so it's inconvenient for charging smartphones and working remotely.I was satisfied with the quantity of the food, but the beef for shabu-shabu had too much fat, so I asked my companion to replace it.The foreign staff gave detailed explanations about the ingredients and cooking methods of the dishes, but many of them were difficult to understand.The hot spring has a pH of 9.1! Although it is an alkaline simple sulfur spring, you can soak in it for a long time as it contains ingredients that are said to make your skin beautiful.I think it's a good idea to come in late at night.

First of all, the atmosphere in front of the entrance is very nice.There is a water wheel and a large noren curtain, and as soon as you step inside, you can feel the romantic atmosphere of the Taisho era. The building is undeniably old, but I felt that a lot of money was spent on the equipment, furniture, etc.The room had been renovated and was spacious and very clean.The meals are pure Japanese cuisine. I think it might be a little boring for young people. The young foreign women who served us all spoke good Japanese and were polite and very likable.What surprised me the most was that I was able to use the day trip bath for free even after checking out. It was summertime and I was sweating all over my body after going back and forth to the suspension bridge of my dreams, and I didn't want to go on to my next destination, so this was really helpful. Cold Kawane tea was also available, which was refreshing. thank you very much. I was so happy that I even bought an additional souvenir (lol)

It was a relaxing inn.・When I entered the room after checking in, the floor mat in front of the bathroom door was wet. My socks got wet.・There are no sandals for women at the entrance, only two for men.・The insole of the slippers in the room was peeling off, making them difficult to wear.-There are tea leaves burning like incense in the room, but if you enjoyed it at first, you could feel the smell afterward.・I can't help but make dinner in advance, but the wasabi on the sashimi was dry and hardened. Also, the menu said fried bamboo shoots, but what came out was shishito peppers. When I told the staff that there was a mosquito under the table during my meal and I was bitten in several places on my leg, they installed a mosquito coil. However, I lost my appetite due to the smell and left it behind.・I received a call from the front desk after 9pm informing me that the breakfast venue had been changed the next day.・I couldn't sleep because I could hear the voices of the guests, whether it was from next door or upstairs, until around the time the date changed.・Perhaps the refrigerator in the room was old, and the compressor kept making loud rattling noises when it started and stopped.・My room was next to a road, so I could hear pedestrians and cars at night, making it difficult to sleep.・Drainage from other rooms can also be heard. Water hammer is done! Dan! That's what I feel.・Although there are hot springs, the route from the front desk to the room is complicated. There was also some stairs to climb.It's a small thing, but if it overlaps, it becomes disappointing.If you would like to relax, it may be a good idea to discuss this with the staff when making a reservation.The hot springs were good. The baths are open 24 hours a day, except during men's and women's shifts.I was told that the stars are beautiful at night, so I was excited to see so many stars from the open-air bath at 3:30 in the morning.But next time I'll stay elsewhere.

It was a very relaxing place. I was very satisfied with the large amount of rice. After relaxing in the hot springs, I was able to go straight to the suspension bridge of my dreams.

It's a nice hot spring inn where you can relax.The room (twin) is spacious and you can spread out your luggage. It was the type where you take off your shoes and go up.The bath has an open-air bath. The quality of the spring was slippery and warm. I'll swap the genders. I was happy with the cold tea service after getting out of the hot springs.The food is not fancy but has a gentle taste. I ordered a bottle and enjoyed it for two days. Why is there a Denki Bran? I was so happy. The female waiter was from overseas and spoke good Japanese, which was a nice touch.thank you.

I went there with high expectations because I heard it was often introduced on TV, but my expectations were not met.It would have been nice if the entrance was retro, but that's just the entrance.There are only two small hot springs, and there were bees and dragonflies flying around quite often in the open-air baths, so I was afraid of getting stung, so I went right up.I think it's dangerous to see bees flying around.The hot spring water is thick and feels good for your skin.There were parts where I raised the bar for myself, but it was something I wouldn't repeat.

If you want to stay overnight near Sumatakyo Onsen, I would definitely recommend this accommodation. The room was spacious and tidy and the service was great! The package included breakfast and dinner and it cost around HKD$1600.From here to the Bridge of Dreams, it took a 30-minute walk, but it will take you more time as you will take photos on the way. The scenery was marvellous! It’s worth a visit.

I visited Oma Dam Curry on July 12, 2024.*We do not stay overnight.The building had a retro feel and was quite quaint. Although I visited on a rainy day, the entrance was very nice as it harmonized with the calm scenery and the sounds of frogs coming from around.Dam curry is served at the on-site restaurant/bar "Haikaratei".It was quite delicious, with plenty of wild game boar meat and vegetables in a relatively mild roux.*You can receive an Oma Dam card by presenting a photo of Oma Dam at the front desk.By the way, it was a rainy day, so when I put my umbrella up in the umbrella stand at the entrance, another customer mistakenly took my umbrella (a plastic umbrella) out.It was just pouring down and I was thinking about how to get home, when the person at the front desk said, ``Please take this with you,'' and opened a new plastic umbrella for sale and handed it to me. Thanks to this, I was able to reach the car safely without getting wet, and I was able to return home without catching a cold during the long drive. Thank you to the front desk.

I used it at a day trip hot spring.The hot water felt good.However, the attitude of the man wearing glasses at the reception desk was too harsh.It looks like it's going to be a hassle, so please check your watch and leave early. It was the worst.
