The downside is that it is quite inconvenient to get around if you don't have a car. Basically, I think this is a place you visit for sightseeing rather than work, but it is safe to travel by bus or taxi from Ibara Station. If you are not using the hotel restaurant, you should consider eating near Ibara Station, which is inconvenient as there are very few places to eat nearby and they tend to close early at night. There is a main building and an annex separated by a bridge called Shinhashi, but the annex only has 4 rooms so it seems to fill up quickly. The main building has two floors and the rooms are the size of a typical business hotel, but there are no bathtubs, only shower rooms, making it a bit cramped.

It turns out that the town of Ibara manufactures a lot of denim material. This hotel uses denim many in places. It even has a flower arrangement made with denim.

I have been staying here since May 10th.I feel very comfortable here.The customer service, correspondence, and facilities were sufficient!It's been a long time since I was able to stay in a hotel that made me feel so satisfied.There are cherry blossom trees nearby, and it's about a minute's walk away, so I'd like to stay there again in the spring.

A really nice, quiet hotel.The rooms are comfortable and big enough. I had a nice view of the river.The breakfast was great and the staff was always nice and helpful.There are a few parking spaces in front of the door. WiFi always worked well.

[A cold, troublesome, and inn that doesn't care about its users]⚪︎It was my first time staying in such a cold hotel.Indeed, I stayed there on a snowy day in Tokyo, but the heating in my 8 tatami room was 26 degrees with strong winds, and if I didn't keep it on all the time, drafts would come in and make the room cold.It looks new, but is it a renovated property?It was a cold inn anyway!⚪︎The only washroom was inside the bath, so my feet got soaked while brushing my teeth.⚪︎The temperature control and ON/OFF controls for the shower were located on the bathtub side, which made it really difficult to use.⚪︎It's nice to have a separate room and dining room, but it was very annoying having to go out into the cold hallway to go to the dining room.Also, there was a refrigerator in the dining room, so it was a pain to have to go to the next room every time I needed a drink.⚪︎Also, it was inconvenient that there were no tissues in the dining room.

Ibara City is a wonderful town. Quiet and slow pace with the most friendly people. Nice small shops and plenty of pedestrian paths by the river. The Hotel is a great little place in this city and the food is outstanding. I will always stay when I return to Ibara City.

Stayed in the main building.The interior was very elaborately designed.The room with the cypress bath was small, but the bath was great.The food is gorgeous, with clam soup served in a solid fuel pot in the morning. Good for a refreshing stay.It was a little scary that it wasn't locked at night, and the breezeway was cold. (This may be difficult to do due to the structure of the building.)
