My wife chose the hotel because of the great location. We were surprised that it was so affordable but didn't think much of it. Now I know why it was so cheap. In order to check in you have to go to a different building (nobody tells you about this though. Luckily there was a nice lady who sold tours who told us where to go). Once checked in we noticed that there was no hair dryer. So back to the other building and had to leave a deposit to get the hair dryer. To get into the room it always took forever because the automated lock wouldn't recognize the key right away. After a sleepless night because of a mattress that was hard as concrete (we checked under the sheets and it was actually some type of leather cushion, not a real mattress), we took a shower. You couldn't properly adjust the temperature, so you either got burned or were freezing and the water pressure came and went as it pleased.Turned out the precious hair dryer wasn't working properly either but when we tried to reach somebody at the other building we found the door closed and when we called the automated voice message simply told us that nobody was available and to call later (which makes me wonder what would have happened if our key had stopped working completely during the night. Guess we would have not been able to get back into the room at all). While the room was clean it was very outdated and in desperate need of renovation. We decided to leave after the first night and go to a real hotel. If you're on a budget and backpacking through Asia this might work for you but if you have just a little bit of money to spare I'd go somewhere else.

I booked on Agoda for 87,000 won for 2 nights. The place to leave your luggage before check-in is in front of Wat Po Pier. You can leave it at the cafe at the end of the alley!(Accommodation is on the second floor of the restaurant at the entrance to the alley)The first floor is a restaurant and cafe, but you have to go up the narrow stairs.I was assigned room 210.It is a two-story structure with only a bathroom and mini refrigerator on the first floor. There are two single beds and a TV on the second floor. There are blind curtains because they are on the road side.Be sure to put down the blinds (Wat Arun View ×)There were two large towels.I got it back because it was dirty. The cleanliness of the bedding is a little dirty, but not that bad.I am satisfied with the location and price.

This is becoming one of my favourite places to stay when in Bangkok. don't judge the books by its cover. This guest house turns up to be a jem. Situated at what I believe to be a prime location, I strongly recommend to friends who likes walking around and venture themselves . You will find lots of surprises.

"The room was small but clean. It is perfectly adequate for a few nights in Bangkok. Many attractions are within a short walking distance. A clear recommendation if you just need a place to sleep. Note: there was no safe in the room. ""The room was small, but clean. It is completely sufficient to stay a few nights in Bangkok. Many sights can be reached with a short walk. It was so noisy that I couldn't sleep in the room. If you look at other reviews, there are reviews that say there is no glass in the windows. Please take note of this.
