Cozy, clean. Washing machines (you have to pay for) included in main social area. Lovely local restaurant underneath- which cooks food to a very high standard and is full of friendly, chatting locals. …

It was a room for four people, but the room was spacious and very clean. The room also has a shower and toilet, which is convenient. It was winter so it was cold when I took a shower. The only problem is that it is far from the station

It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the station, but it's still in the shopping district so it's manageable. The dormitory has bunk beds that are well designed so as not to ``hello'' with the space next to it, but if one moves up or down, the other side also shakes, and you can hear people walking around. There is no kitchen, but there is a microwave, kettle, and sink in the common room on the first floor. There is a convenience store nearby where you can buy anything.Even if you were staying for a long time, there was a sign asking you to go outside during cleaning time.

I went with my friend to Japan and we stayed atSingai Cabin for one night. That one night, we met the owner who was incredibly nice, and helped us in forwarding our luggage to another hotel in Kyoto. The room we were assigned was very nice and had some very nice sheets and AC to keep us cool. The amenities were also very welcomed 😁.In the building, there is also coin laundry and coin dryers (2 of each). I believe it was 300 yen to wash (detergent is automatically added) and 100 yen to dry (for 30 minutes)There is a restaurant/cafe run by the owner in the same building. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced and is very delicious.Overall, I would highly recommend this place to stay 😁

Self-service check-in, opposite the supermarket. The disadvantage is that it is inconvenient to drag luggage about 1.2 kilometers from the station. In addition, the sound insulation of the room is average, but the provision of earplugs is a good service.

Very good hostel! Check-in via the tablet was smooth. The premises were well cleaned and in good condition. Sleeping places were spacious and provided good privacy thanks to curtains and walls on the sides. Handy that towels and bed linen are included in the rent and that you get a new towel every day. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the station, but you can take a bus. The walk there is otherwise very pleasant and goes either via the water or the shopping street.

I was confused about the check-in (because I'm an analog person), but everything else is great 🎵The facility is clean, the owner is nice, and the izakaya on the first floor is fun, so it might be better to make a reservation (there are a lot of customers). The dormitory also feels like a secret base (lol)I will stay here again on my next Shimanami Kaido cycling trip 🎵
