- Oldschool way of making reservation> you have to call them and make a reservation, they will ask for your details and will send a letter for deposit transfer of 2000yen and fax to them the deposit slip for confirmation. I think there is no online reservation.- The tent site is somewhat pricey for 6500 per site (plus 1000yen if you will use electricity) compare to other Campsites along the lake.-It is a safe place for kids since the tentsite is right in front of the Lake,so we can actually see the kids while we were preparing the tent and food.-It is not a crowded place, it's serene- There were a lot of trees so it helped as sunshade especially when the sun is at its peak.

On August 10th and 11th, a total of 10 people from 3 families, including myself, my wife, my daughters who are in 3rd grade and middle school, and 2 friends' families, used the service. It wasn't very crowded even during the Obon holidays, and the sections were set up next to each other. The caretakers were also very kind, and they remembered where I was and even went out of their way to find me and come to tell me when it was time for my bath. The water area was suddenly too deep for the children, but they were able to play in the shallows, and there was a diving board, so they happily jumped in. Personally, I felt that the clarity was a little low among the swimming holes in Lake Biwa. However, once the water calmed down, I could see the bottom and see the fish. The starry sky is beautiful at night, and the toilets and baths are kept clean, so if the weather is nice, you can stay at the campsite for a long time. The bath takes 30 minutes and costs 500 yen per person, so if you're a family of four, you have to hurry. A friend and family member who used the shower also said that each person had enough coins for 3 times. I think the bath was cheaper...I don't know why you can use this campsite without reservations even in high season, but I can recommend it.

I went on August 16th and 17th!This is my 4th time visiting the New Shirahama Auto Campsite for 3 years in a row, and I see a rainbow 🌈 every time.Well...Lake Biwa Palm.Even in the peak season, you can get in without a reservation, and the prices are lower than those at nearby campgrounds.I think it's reasonable. The toilets are clean and flush,The water area has also been cleaned since the morning.Manager? Also kind.I'm a little dissatisfied with the power of hot water in the coin shower, but it's better than nothing. But it's my favorite campsite.

The site is smallWill it be basically rectangular? If you can get it on the lakeside side, it will be more flexible (lol)It's 15 meters from the entrance, so it's hot to enter the lake. The toilet has a washlet and is clean. The sink is smallThere is a bath, a changing area, a bathtub, and a washing area.It was beautiful and spacious - great! ! !It’s also nice to be able to use the amenities 💕I would like to give it 5 stars.↓[Unfortunate] That place↓A pet-friendly place! ! I didn't know (tears)The May fly has been barking since 5am.From Camp TouiIt feels like you're staying over with friends and going swimming.Gurcan? There are many young people and foreigners, and even if they are shouting,Even if it's fireworksSatsuki flies in a drunk moodCustomer manners are the worst everWell, thanks to that, I don't have to worry about itI was given freedomThe site has confirmed repeat reservations for summer 👍Reserved family baths are the best! ️Thank you again, administrator.

The receptionist welcomed me with the kindness of a mother and father. Even when I made a reservation over the phone, the woman was very polite and made me feel at ease.It was a bit stiff due to the use of Golden Week...lol.It was crowded with a lot of people, but since we were facing the lake, the front was spacious. The bath is located in front of the hotel and can be accessed on foot, so you can take a day trip bath as well.
